I was sitting in front of a desk in the principal’s office.

“Seriously, Tom. Your sixteen. Copying homework is something you should have left behind in fifth grade.” The principal, Mrs. Jill said. “Having a black belt in karate doesn’t mean you can use your strength to copy homework. I don’t know if I should suspend you or give you detention each day this week.”

“It’s just a homework assignment miss. Why would you suspend…”

The door flew open. A dart flew past me and into Mrs. Jill’s arm. She fell back, her eyes slowly drifting in sleep. I stood up and turned around. I saw two men; One was wearing a shirt full of scorpions and the other was wearing a shirt with a large snake.

“Take him.” Snake said. Scorpion grabbed me.

“Hey,” I said. “What are you doing. I didn’t do anything.”

Snake laughed, “Come on little boy. Stop pretending you didn’t do anything. You know what you’ve done.”

I kicked Scorpion in his shin. His grip weakened. I turned a punched him in his face. He flew back into Mrs.Jill’s desk. I turned around too slowly. A tranquilizer dart embedded itself in my shoulder and I fell unconscious.

I woke up in the back of a truck. My hands were chained to the side. My legs were free but I knew they wouldn’t do any good without my hands. The truck stopped. The backdoors opened and Snake untied me. “No funny business,” He said in my ear after we got out. He grabbed both of my hands and forced me forward.

“I don’t get it.” I said, “Do you always arrest someone when they copy someone’s homework.”

“You know what you’ve done. Now stop talking or I’ll have to gag you.”

We entered a building that was way too beautiful to be a prison. Three men were waiting for me inside. One man had a dragon tattoo. Another was wearing a shirt full of eyeballs, and the third… No way… It was James, the person I hated the most in the school.

“James! What are you doing!” I shouted.

I ripped my hands from Snake’s grip, grabbed his wrists, and flung him on Dragon. Dragon fell back and landed on James. I turned and started running but I hadn’t noticed Scorpion. I ran into him and fell back. Eyeball leaped at me and grabbed me before I could do anything.

“Open prison one,” He said

A wall slid open and eyeball threw me inside. The wall closed. The room I was in was well lit. A small TV screen was attached to the wall. It was showing a video of me stealing a diamond from this place. But today was the first I had seen this place. Which brought the question, Which city was I in? I started searching the room for exits. A box labeled ‘Food’ was in the corner. It was attached to a pipe big enough for a plate. The pipe led to the ceiling. I climbed inside. I started climbing up by using my back and legs. Crack! I heard the pipe breaking from underneath. If I fell, It would be game over. I kept on climbing. At the top of the pipe, a small trapdoor blocked my exit.

“Great,” I muttered under my breath. Now I had to wait till someone opened the trapdoor to give me my food. While I waited I thought about the video on the TV. How had they replaced me with the person who had stolen the diamond? And why me. It all fell in place. James… He was amazing with computers. He must have stolen the diamond while recording himself, then edited the video and put me in it. Anger bubbled in my stomach. I wanted to march up to him and remove his soul from his body. Unfortunately, I was stuck in this room. Creak! I looked up. The trapdoor was slowly opening. I dived through just as Scorpion dropped a paper plate on my head. The plate slid down. I tackled Scorpion. His head hit the floor with a bump. I kicked him down the trapdoor. I ran down a flight of steps. I opened a door and the alarm started to blare. I ran through and saw Snake with a group of ten men. I turned around and saw James with a pistol. I tackled him to the floor and ripped the pistol from his grip. Five men appeared in the doorway I came from.

“Great,” I muttered. I shot Snake in his chest and he fell back on one of his partners.

I ran towards the other eight since I had seen a word printed don the door: ‘exit.’

“Reinforcements.” A guy yelled. I punched him in his face and he collapsed in front of Dragon. Dragon didn’t see him and he tripped and fell on his face. The remaining eleven men raised took out a gun. I desperately searched for something that could help me. My eyes found the target. A rope was hanging from the ceiling a few steps away. Bang! I rolled to the side as a bullet sailed over my shoulder.

“Oww!” I looked up. The bullet had hit another man in his arm. His eyes were full of anger. He shot the attacker in his chest. As he fell, he shot another bullet which nailed the man who had just killed him. As he fell back, He pulled the trigger. The bullet sailed high above everyone. It hit the lights and the room went black. I couldn’t believe my luck. Someone lit a torch. I shot that man in his hand. The torch went flying. It landed on a piece of firewood. Everyone watched in disbelief, then they panicked. The firewood had started to burn the building. In a few minutes, the building would have been destroyed. I looked around the room until I saw the exit. I made my way there, then I tossed my gun into the flames, knowing it was about to explode. I ran out just as the building exploded.
