The Long Awaited and Desired Kiss

Dear Diary,

I FINALLY KISSED HIM! It was the most magical feeling I’ve ever experienced! This all started when Jamie asked me to go with him to the local roller rink earlier. He told me to be ready by eight o’clock, and that I should bring my roller skates. At this point I was unnecessarily nervous, but I was excited too! When I got home from school, I immediately started to get ready. I decided to wear a lapis colored halter top with black flowers on it. In addition to that, I decided to put on these sapphire low rise jeans I found. The black laced sandals my sister had also complimented my shirt, so I wore those too! Moreover, I put on some lipgloss and curled my hair. I almost forgot to bring my skates from excitement! Jamie was waiting for me outside in his grey pickup truck and he looked so handsome. His kinky, brown hair looked amazing with his new haircut. He was wearing a brown button up and had own his Timbs. His dark brown skin reflected light from the moon. I got in the car and we talked while he drove. A lot of people were at the roller rink tonight, but it made sense since it’s Friday. Jamie and I walked in and it was like a whole other world. The music was loud and there was a conversation at every corner. From the ceiling, the lights illuminated all kinds of colors. The Destiny’s Child song, Say My Name, echoed throughout the rink. We got our wristbands from the front desk and started to put on our skates. Jamie took my hand and I followed him onto the rink. I felt butterflies in my stomach and my heart beat sped up. He looked back at me with the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen on a man! At first, I was getting the hang of skating again after being away from the rink for so long. After that, I was almost floating cuz I was skating so fast. We still held hands though, which was so romantic to me. To be honest, I really wanted him to kiss me at that point. However, that comes later on in the story. He soon got a little tired and we took a break. Jamie ordered us some steak fries and soda. We talked a lot and he told me he was having fun. He also told me I looked really beautiful! Jamie actually started leaning in and I got so NERVOUS! He stopped himself though and I was almost disappointed. We got back up to skate and the final song of the night came on (this is the best part). So Into You by Tamia came on, which was a perfect couples song! Jamie held my hand again, but this time he held me close to his body. I was twirling and we were singing along with the song. Other couples began to get close too, so I decided to speed things up a bit! I put his hands on my hips and we rocked side to side along with the rhythm. His eyes bore into mine and his umber eyes enchanted me into a daze. He got closer and closer until our lips finally touched!!!! OMG IT WAS AMAZING! It felt like how eating a brownie for the first time. It was like a magic spell was cast on me. I never wanted it to end, but the song ended right after our lips met. We both pulled away, but we kept our hands together. I saw my lipgloss was on his lips and I blushed! I giggled and he laughed. He said it was a nice kiss! I was surprised cuz I’ve never kissed anyone before. We took off our skates and put our regular shoes back on. He asked if I wanted to do anything else and I of course said yes! He brought me to the beach by my house. The moonlight on the water was so mesmerizing! I took my sandals off and rolled up my pant legs. He also did the same and we ran into the water holding hands. We danced to the sound of the late night bar by the beach’s entrance. At that moment, I literally couldn’t believe I was actually doing this. It was so magical and we ended up sit there for awhile. We laid down on the sand and just talked. He brought up college and where he wanted to go. I brought up my dreams about being a baker. The cool breeze didn’t help my blushing cheeks as he talked. We kissed again and it still felt like the first time! Jamie got up and I did too soon after. I still didn’t want the night to end, so I asked if he wanted to just walk along the boardwalk. He said sure, so we did. Everything was closed at this time of night, but we didn’t care at all. It was nice to just walk, hand in hand. Jamie and I were dancing together as if there was music! That was so fun and exhilarating. The time was hitting close to when I was supposed to come back, so we decided to call it a night. We slowly walked back to the car to keep the date going on longer. However, we both had to get home. I dusted the sand and dirt I got on my clothes before I got in his truck. He smiled at me when he got in the driver’s seat. I put on the radio and we sang to many R&B songs. He asked if I wanted to do this again next weekend and I almost screamed. I said yes like my life depended on it! I was a bit tired and sleepy, but I was still kind of awake. Since I was almost passed out, the ride home was silent. Despite that, he was holding my left hand with his right on my lap. I could hear him through my daze that he was singing. It wasn’t good, but my ears at the time thought it was amazing. Soon enough, his truck pulled up to my house. I didn’t want to leave, but I knew I had to. He walked me up to my house’s door and told me goodnight. I kissed him on the lips after and we stayed like that for few seconds. He smiled and walked back to his car. When I got inside I squealed, but I had to be quiet since it was one o’clock in the morning. I got upstairs to my room and got ready for bed. Now I’m ending my night by writing in you, Diary. I’m gonna go to bed now, so goodnight! I’ll write in you tomorrow!
