Yugel Losorata is the author of the freshly released novel “The Lust Regime.” In 2020, he authored two e-books, a collection called “30 Midnights of Flash Fiction” and a set of essays titled “How To Survive The New Normal.” His byline has appeared in Philippine broadsheets Manila Bulletin, Philippine Star, and Manila Times, as well as online news sites like Yahoo Philippines and Philippine Entertainment Portal, covering mostly music and movies, He currently has a weekly music column called “Touchbass” published by Manila Standard. He is also a professional songwriter and recording artist who has played bass guitar and sang in Filipino bands Syato and The Pub Forties. Some of his compositions have been released as album tracks and digital singles.
