Valerie Vince grew up in an agricultural region on Lake Erie in Southwestern Ontario. Born into a large family, she found quiet time reading fiction, the classics, and poetry, and became fascinated by the nature of life and relationships. Valerie travelled extensively until the age of 36 when she settled in Toronto, got a Master’s degree, a career in business, and raised her son. Now back in her home county by the lake, Valerie currently chairs an environmental not-for-profit, and writes about what’s makes people tick.
