August 5thhad a big circle on it. His normally blank calendar now looked as if it had a black eye. August 5this his birthday and though he’s the type not to have cared about any of the previous days that marked his annual passage through life (even the fabled 21st), this year was different. This year he is having a party. And he’s inviting anyone he’s ever cared about.
