I’m a simple man
Who has a complicated brain
I like different things
As long as they stay the same
I lead a horse to water
and I made it drink
I gave it everything
and the kitchen sink
I had a piece of cake.
and I ate it too
I can do anything
Twice in a blue moon
I’m a square peg
that fits in a round hole
I act without all my ducks in a row
I make mole hills out of mountains
I toss pennies out of fountains
A penny for your thoughts
But mine are worth a dime
If I fall from grace
I’ll Land on cloud nine
I will Save face
And beat Father Time
I got it right
after I made two wrongs
Not the same old dance and song
Not changing my tune
Even if I can't sing
I ate at noon
and it didn't cost a thing
Its an eye for an eye
as long as both eyes are yours
I’ll kick it down
to get my foot out the door
If it’s not broke I still fix it
If there’s no reward
I’ll still risk it
A little bit about me
you’ll learn in the long run
At the end of the day
Once and for all
When push comes to shove
I’ll answer the call
I play the short game
But I’m in for the long hall
Like shooting fish in a barrel
But with a hook line and sinker
And I don't use A.I.
I’m an independent thinker
