It was in the afternoon when my grandpa passed away. As I woke up from my nap, I was in a daze. My grandma was in shock; she was crying. My parents came home early that day. Hi guys, we speaks for the trees, and they speak Vietnamese! Well, with a bit more serious tone, we are a team of two indie new authors Nghịch Tử - that would be me - and Viet H Nguyen, both born and raised in Vietnam and are currently living in Germany. We enter this weekly writing contest to meet new people, challenging ourself with the exciting prompts reedsy offered, and hopefully get our names out there. Being relatively new indie authors, saying we don't need the exposure would be an utter lie. I wouldn't believe myself if I were to say that, let alone you guys.
