The water was eerily calm, so tranquil that the monstrous atrocity that took place here seemed so unfathomable that he could almost trick his mind into believing that everything that happened here was just a figment of his imagination.A sudden tremor overtook his body; he bent over and almost retched as a wave of nausea crawled up his throat.Don't think—don't think about it—you're okay—you did nothing—no, no, please stop. An incoherent ramble consumed his mind until his mind split into a kaleidoscope of cracks, like a glass shattering. The p...

I watched the rain fall. It's what they do; fall. Perhaps it's the cloud’s tears. Perhaps the droplets do it for exhilaration. Perhaps I am being ridiculous. Of course, there is a logical elucidation, but I like to believe that they do it for euphoria. Abandoning their parachutes and taking a flight. LUNA.“Lily,” Luna fumes. “I’m gonna kill you.”Lily only giggles because she savvies what a helpless situation Luna is trapped in.Luna glares at her mirror which was posited in her locker. I love sitting on my rocking chair. I started when I was just a cute little baby. I don’t remember it, but I have a photograph to prove it. In the photograph, I was two years old, dressed up in a snuggly azure jumpsuit, with little men who carried deadly-looking swords (seriously mom, that’s what you give a two year old to wear?) dotted on it which looked downright evil, like the little men wished with all their heart that they could come alive and take over the world with their charming looks.Orion, my biological mom, wore a skinny den...
Funny how weather changes so quickly and suddenly. One time, the sky is painted with the vibrant colors of azure and yellow, the sun rising through the horizon-a picturesque, picture-perfect moment. Then without warning, the sky darkens and thunder rumbles. Torrential rain comes crashing down in a deafening roar-almost like it’s laughing at how weak and helpless you are-and very soon, a flood forms, a wave of destruction, washing down everything in it’s path, leaving nothing but sorrow and quietus. The flood were my tears and the weather is ...
