Author bio

Peter Merz has been a scribe of fiction from the time he first learned to write with a pen and paper, spanning across four decades. In the 1990s, he began writing poetry and songs, collaborating with songwriters and lyricists on a prolific body of songs. Peter grew up in Southern and Northern California, was a history major at Campbellsville University, and in 2004 made a major coast to coast move from the hustle and bustle of California to the New England coast of Maine. His stories have appeared in Campbellsville University’s student newspaper, The Campus Times, the Society of Scribblers Connections journal, Yahoo! Associated Content, and in several online fan-fiction publications. In 2005, he founded his own music publishing company, Scribe and Sage Music. Peter graduated from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) with a B.A. degree in Creative Writing and English, cum laude. He is a member of Sigma Tau Delta-Alpha Phi Beta, International English Honor Society, and Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). Peter resides in Maine with his two children, Michael and Aaliyah.
