All the conditions were ripe for a successful lemonade stand. Bright electric sunlight coated the sky. A warm balmy breeze generated the right amount of stickiness to prime potential customers. Erse rippled through the thin layer of her muslin sheets. Through squinted lashes, she pushed the cotton candy sleep from her eyes. Pamela Raymond is an avid writer who hopes to continue publishing her ideas one short story at a time. She was a finalist for the 2019 Golden Donut Short Story competition. When she’s not writing, she’s learning French, unsuccessfully, but having better luck with the art of cake decorating. She has an identical twin, loves her hometown of New Orleans, and makes a tasty gumbo.
