Mike Henry first started writing short stories and poetry a few years ago but has only recently begun submitting for publication. Many of his stories are based on real people and events but he claims ‘artistic license’ and presents his work for the reader to interpret as they wish. Born in Ireland and raised in England, he worked in Scandinavia in his teens and traveled around Europe in his summer vacations. He eventually bit the bullet and began backpacking with no final destination in mind. Fourteen months later, after many adventures, he arrived in Australia a week after his 22nd birthday and has called Australia home ever since. He lives in country NSW.
