 A cat ran down the cobbled street in Chantilly, Virginia. The bare trees stood tall around the Chantilly Courthouse as leaves littered the streets. Autumn was setting in and there was a coolness to the air. Author bio

My name is Melinda Care. I am beginning my quest as a writer and I currently live in Chester County, Pennsylvania. I grew up in Rockingham County, Virginia, where I found plenty of free time for day dreaming about story ideas. I started my love of fantasy at an early age. I began reading novels and writing poetry around the age of 12. I love everything fantasy and have always been academic in English and Literature. My shelves are full of fantasy novels, mysteries and I enjoy writing for children and young adults. I took English and writing courses at Delaware County Community College where I was also an Honor Roll student and I have written other manuscripts, but nothing is published. I am hoping to find my niche as a published author. I appreciate any feedback and enjoy sharing my writings. Thanks for reading this one!
