The casket was lowered slowly and I wiped away the last of my little tears.I can’t believe grandma was gone. It seemed like just yesterday when she sped into town on her little red scooter and brought scones and strawberry jam for me, mama and papa. She was wearing her hiking boots. I remember those boots.
