I am a data scientist by day and a writer by...early morning. I am a defunct mathematician whose favorite part of writing her dissertation was the writing - not the math. I recently completed a first draft of my first novel! I am also looking to continue my (almost) daily writing practice by playing around with some contests while I take a short break from novel-writing.
