“Ready?” Nathan asked his wife. Dawn nodded with a smile and the two walked to the car. Her small baby bump showed even in her thick winter coat. A light snow began to fall from the dark sky as he entered the car.  “I’m excited to meet your family,” Dawn said, putting on her seatbelt. “Oh really?” Nathan began to back out of the driveway and the reality of going back home hit him. “Yeah, really. I think it’s odd I’ve only heard about them, but never met any. Well, except the time George showed up drunk on our doorstep.” Dawn laughed....
