I’m an old fart who will turn 80 soon. I retired from industry (supply chain management) from the military (Lieutenant Colonel, Field Artillery), and from academia (university lecturer in project management, operations management, information systems, and business statistics. I wrote a top-selling book on project management mathematics. One of my 5-star reviewers said: "One of the best PM books available. This has a TON of great explanations for how to apply various processes that are necessary in project management, as well as activities that help you apply and practice each lesson. It is extremely detailed and includes great visuals and example situations. One of the most useful project management books in my ever growing collection." I am currently working on a statistics textbook that replaces tables (yuk!) with Excel functions and formulas. I plan like to publish it next fall. I have been a sportscar enthusiast most of my life, and have organized many road rallies and performance (off-road) rallies. My first car was an MG Midget, to be followed by a Glas 1300, a BMW 1600TI, several TR3s and TR4s, a FIAT 124 and a 131, a Volvo 1800, a Volvo 122 rally car, and more recently, a Volvo 142 rally car. I am a member of Triumph Travelers Sports Car Club and the Porsche Club of America. I am writing a 12-part series on "My Sports Car Journey" for their newsletters.
