Jack is a retired entrepreneur, who has been writing his whole life. He wakes up in Ketchum, Idaho, in sight of the mountains, trying to figure out how to be a better writer. Jack said, "Every time I give up, a few days later I find myself writing stories again—so I guess I'm hooked." His writing spreads between magical realism, speculative, inspirational, westerns, and sometimes, "thinking mans" horror—and he loves both receiving and sending input and critiques.
I won’t "like" your story unless I’ve read it. (Please don't be one of those people who like a bunch of stories you haven't read to drive traffic to your story. Anyone can tell you do that by going to your Library)
If you’ve made more than a cursery comment on my story, you can count on me looking you up, actually reading your story, and then offering a thought-out comment or critique in turn.
Reedsy is great but if you want to join a private group exchanging in-depth critiques go to: https://www.scribophile.com/groups/jack-kimballs-private-critique-group
Thank you for taking the time to read, like, and critique my stories. I appreciate it more than you know.
