The author, choosing to write under her nom de plume Eden Weathers, more as a way to pay homage to her family than to perpetuate a secret identity, completed her debut novel The Cell in 2020. “We should always remember and honor those that came before us. We exist because they did, and we are who we are in part because of who they were,” she says. “Plus, a little mystery never hurts.” She enjoys writing commercial fiction primarily in the dystopian science fiction and suspense thriller genres. The author resides in what the locals refer to as Upstate South Carolina with her husband, three almost grown children, and their mostly adorable, but occasionally obnoxious pets.
