The ocean breeze is strong today. The King Tide waves crash, a phenomenon that is costing coastline as the sea gobbles up beach acreage.  Even the birds are buffeted by the wind as they pick their way across the sand searching for their morning meal. My first 66 years were traditional. Marriage, kids, career. It was wonderful, fulfilling and I am so very proud of my grown offspring and the children they added to our family. At 66, I turned a new page. I left home and husband. I moved in with my daughter for a short time, then took off in a small RV with my dachshund, Milo. To "See America." For the last 13 months, I have been on the road seeing the splendor of Mother Earth and meeting the souls who rely on her. I found myself. I found joy, peace and while I have journaled and written all my life, a new chapter is opening - I can't wait to see where it takes me.
