I'm an Illinois woman who should have gotten my act together sooner than my fifties when it comes to my dream of being published. I have a B.A. in English and excelled at writing, including a newsletter and grant proposals, during my career in social services. I've always dabbled in poetry but only recently figured out I need to complete a first draft before going back to edit when writing prose. Now I'm actually finishing some of my short stories I start, and that's a major victory for me. I've also edited and completed the synopsis for someone else's novel and am co-authoring another. Thanks for this opportunity, and I hope you enjoy my work.
