Mark drove in silence, watching the various things pass by on the long drive. Sign after sign, light pole after light pole. He focused on everything he could to avoid thinking about seeing Carina. He was up all night the night before, staring at the ceiling, thinking about today. Debating on actually seeing her or putting it off again like he had hundreds of times in the past.
