Cathy Gale took up creative writing during the Covid lockdowns, when she retired early from librarianship, a career which provided the perfect opportunity to read promiscuously and know it was useful for work. The lockdowns provided the perfect opportunity to attend online writing classes and to complete her first novel “Ill conceived.” Cathy lives in Ipswich, has been married to Colin for thirty five years and has one grown up son.
