Hello, I'm Carrie Sweet, also known as C.L Sweet. I am still working on my writing style, I'm a beginner writer of poetry and short stories, and I've been an active member of All Poetry since 2014, where I share my work and engage with other poets and writers. My love for writing began in high school when I discovered my passion for poetry. Since then, I have been continuously refining my craft, developing my unique voice as a writer. Drawing inspiration from my own experiences, I write from the heart, sharing my struggles and triumphs. I hold a professional administrative assistant associate's degree in business from Intellic College in Colorado, which has nurtured my passion for both business and creative writing. As someone who lives with a chronic condition and infertility, I understand firsthand the challenges of living with a condition that has no cure, and the emotional pain associated with infertility. I intend to write about my experiences with infertility in the near future to raise awareness and offer support to those going through similar struggles. Despite these challenges, I use writing as a means of escape and self-expression. My motto, "Life just throws curve balls, and you just have to hit back," reflects my resilient attitude toward life. I draw inspiration from all aspects of life, from the sweet moments of joy and family to the painful experiences of love and loss. My writing style is versatile, and I enjoy writing both heartwarming love stories and suspenseful, scary tales. My writing is characterized by its emotional depth, vivid imagery, and lyrical language. One of my favorite book series is Goosebumps. When not writing, I enjoy listening to audiobooks and podcasts, exploring nature as an intermediate/advanced photographer, and spending quality time with my family and friends. Writing is my passion, and I'm enthusiastic to see where it takes me in the future.
