It has been 10 days since I had been thrown down here and forgotten about. I know because I kept a tally with a mark for each day, five days at a time. I can see a sliver of light out of the far, upper corner when the sun is out, but I don't dare venture there. I can see his hand sticking out of the shadows. There's also an awful stench of decay.
