I’d had it. Living in a home, or should I say, institution, for senior citizens was unpleasant at best. But it was my own decision to move there because my osteoporosis had put me in a wheelchair. She kept looking at street signs as she drove along, trying to find names that were familiar, but she often had trouble reading the signs in the rapidly descending dusk.
