Months have passed since Edgar Thorne was simultaneously blasted with a strange purple gas and electrocuted. As a result, his altered body gained that ability to store and discharge electrical energy in a variety of ways. Having lost his job, Edgar found friendship in Peter Mayfield. A fellow listener to their cities local conspiracy radio station. Curious about the gas that created him. Edgar stands firm atop a skyscraper in his new suit. Skin tight, dark green and steaks of yellow accents match his golden tactical visor. Staring into the s...
Broken sentences mixed with static shower the cars speakers as Edgar lazily flips through the radio channels searching for that perfect station to fit his mood. Turning right onto the highway Edgar decides to settle on talk radio. Not his favorite, but this particular channel let anybody with a voice get on and tell their tale. “Two words... Alien Abduction.” The host screams over the radio. Blasting a loud buzzer he continues saying. “Every year thousands of people go missing and are never found. Where do you think they go?” Pausing for a...

Marking the days of the week down to friday night. Young Tommy Smith dashes from his desk the moment the bell rings. Moving faster then his teacher can tell him to slow down. Tommy has his coat zipped, backpack strapped on tight and two yellow boots to match his outfit. Six years old and full of piss and vinegar. Tommy hops up and down patiently waiting for his parents to come pick him up from preschool. As a few of the kids get picked up. Tommy keeps his enthusiasm. Anticipation acting like ants in his pant. Tommy keeps shifting about. It h...
Wiggling his butt cheeks against the open breeze flowing from his ceiling fan. Jason slaps the left cheek all while making Vogue faces in his pristine white briefs. Feeling particularly sexy he purses his lips together. Got to make the duck work. Ducks are ugly creatures. But the right type of duck face just might get him lucky one of these days. With a spicy sigh. Jason drops the sexy pretenses and accepts real life.Who is he kidding? It's been years since the last time Jason brought someone home. Let alone someone who was actually interest...

With a large wide stretch matched with a full mouthed yawn, Adam rouses himself from bed. Scratching at his belly tuft becomes button picking which turns to a few scratches south of the border. Stumbling to the bathroom rubbing his eyes with his other hand another yawn flicks the light on and the boxers fly off. In front of the mirror, Adam uses both hands to grab onto the last 5 years of drinking a beer every night. Making a childish raspberry as he folds into himself. Adam tries to make himself look as fat as possible. He never fails to ro...

Once a year, every year. I take a special winter trip into the mountains. I always pack the night before, and wake up early to leave. Embracing the chilly morning air, it doesn't take long to toss the few bags I take with me in the trunk. Brew a quick cup of coffee for the drive, lock up the house and I'm on the road by six. I'll let the radio play whatever it will as I hop on the highway to the mountains; sometimes I might even drive in silence and just listen to the sounds of the road. Cruising along I slip past any major traffic before it...

The back door. It's always been my escape. Not just from work, but from everything. When I step through that threshold into my garden. Everything else melts away. Just me and the cool morning air. The sweet tinge of yellow clinging to my cheeks as the sun rises over the horizon. It's okay to take my time out here, because it is my time. It always will be.Kneeling down I typically take the time to look over each plant before moving onto trimming, nutrients and watering. It's important to take a good look at your lower leafs close to the groun...
