I felt my breath hang in my throat as she asked me that dreaded question. Why did I even come and sit next to her at lunch today? Was it because she was my best friend? Or because everyone else in school seemed weird? What ever the reason was, it was better that answering this question. I should have prepared for it, I knew that somehow, it would leak out, that someone would say something and because of that, I would lose my best friend. I was not prepared for that. She was the only one that really understood me, and I had just betrayed her....
