Anita Johnson

Anita Johnson is a female Black southern writer who brings characters to life to tell stories not often told of our past and create futures inclusive of many cultures and perspectives. She writes fiction and non-fiction for young adults and adults. As a former English teacher, she aims to write stories that can ignite imaginations and inspire students to read. Anita holds a BA in English from Mount Holyoke College and continues to elevate her writing craft. She founded an online global space for Black creative writers to explore, write and share. She currently lives in Tennessee.
