Rudyard Kipling once said “the present is big with the future”.  I suppose that also means that the past is big with the present.  I’ve had a lot of time to think about the past, and I know this to be true.  As it turns out. Life is never dull on the East Coast of Africa. I am surrounded by an abundance of intrigue, extreme beauty, extreme tragedy and adventure. Ours is a nation of story tellers. Story telling gives me a place to create a world not bound in time or space. My mind is full of plots and ideas - it's turning them into a passable story that is my challenge. And I have no idea what my genre is. So I'm learning and experimenting.
