Emily lifted the glass apple from the lip of the china cupboard. Flakes of gold sparkled in the sunlight when she gave the apple a little shake. I read, write, and walk. I read many genres written at many times. I read for enjoyment and to develop some expertise on a topic. I primarily write fiction that involves research, which I enjoy. I have a finished novel manuscript, many short stories in various stages, and I have begun a second novel. I live in a densely wooded small town and enjoy walking with my dog and spotting wildlife. We also have a house cat, who is charming. I live a quiet life when I am not listening intently to someone talk or chattering away myself. In addition to the writing, I have always been interested in and engaged in visual arts. Lately this has been whittled down to random sketching and doodling but I have big dreams!
