At 7:10 AM, Mr. Gasvoda leered through the kitchen window, one eye peeking out from behind the lime green curtains Mrs. Gasvoda purchased at Merle Davis’s yard sale last year. My name is Alex, I’m from California. I worked in the customer service industry for ten years while going to college off and on. A couple of months ago I quit my job to pursue personal interests, and find out where I can go in that pursuit. One of those interests is writing fiction which has led me to the Reedsy community. I’m planning on submitting prompts at least a couple of times a month. I mostly enjoy writing humor, but I’d also like to tackle more serious subjects to get readers thinking. Either way, I believe fiction should strive for entertainment and knowledge, and I hope that immersing myself in Reedsy will work towards that end for myself and the community. Thank you for reading!
