1st of September 1939 ,the time when world war 2 started .

Germany attacked Poland ,before it Japan had declared that they are in war with China .

Over 100 milion people from more than 30 countries were in war as an ally country or axis country .

• Robert Wayne was a brave army man ,he was in charge of an English military base no 64 

He left his wife and his baby girl Nancy to defend his country against nazi attacks and the power of Adolf Hitler 

Robert showed a great bravery in the field of war , he was like an inspiration for all other soldiers ,he was fearless ,strong and he was a good man 

• His wife and his daughter Nancy were in his mind all over this time ,he missed them so much 

He could only send them letters from time to time as all the army do for their families.

“ Mary , how are you ,I hope you are fine ,how is Nancy , I think she can talk now .

I miss you so much , I will do my best honey to keep you safe and keep our country in peace too.

Mary I wanted you to know that it will be so difficult from now to send you any letters as we are in a critical situation here, it may be my last letter so please keep our daughter safe ,grow her well ,teach her how to deal in her life and tell her about me . cause I don’t know when will this end and I don’t know also if I will be alive until our victory or I will be dead ....love you “

• This was the last letter Robert sent to his family 

In 5th of may 1943 ,a young soldier leaded a Nazi attack on military base no 64 ,

Robert died with all his men and the fire spreded in all the base 

They knew how important was this base to the English army ,they did what they wanted for 3 years .

Robert's die news was like a storm that blew on Mary’s heart ,

Now she is in charge of growing her daughter alone and beside that ,she lost a great man whom she loved more than herself .

At that time Nancy was 3 ,she started to talk and normally to ask about her father ,Mary told her that her father did a great duty to them and to his country .

She was repeating everyday how brave and loyal was her father and the sacrifice he did to them and to his beloved England .

• In 2_september 1945 ,world war 2 has come to an end 

The allies won ,which means that Robert’s efforts hadn’t gone with the wind ,he died for a purpose .

• 1-feb 1963 ,it was NANCY's 23rd birthday 

“Happy birthday dear,I hope it will be your lucky year “said Mary to her daughter.

Nancy is in the last year in university now ,she was a hard worker ..just like her father .

She was studying medicine , her full focus was on her studies ,she wanted to raise her father’s name high and high ,she loved him although she didn’t even remember his face ,but her mother didn’t stop talking about h 

Mary knew by mother’s sense that Nancy has someone in her life ...and she was right ..he is Frank .

• Frank is a German 38-years old man ,who was working in an English company near Nancy’s university.

They first met in Nancy’s way back to home , he surprised how beautiful was her ,he offered her a ride with his car but she refused then .

For over 3 months Frank waited in front of her university just to look at her .

Oneday he want to her and asked for a coffe in a nearby restaurant .she wasn’t sure about this but she accepted.

They talked a lot that day , although his English was perfect but she realised a different accent “where are you from “ Nancy asked .

It’s been 18 years after the war but there is still a thing between Germans and English people .

At first Frank hesitated to tell her that he is german 

“ Ooh you realised my accent ,I’ve been practicing not to be caught “ 

“ I knew from the first word out of your mouth that you are not English” said Nancy 

- “ I am German “

Nancy looked at him didn’t know what to do at that time.

She know that her father was killed by Germans and now she is having a coffe with one of them 

Frank continued rapidly “ I know that we were in war but it was in the past ,also I refused what my country was doing to England , I was against Hitler’s policies but I had no choice “ 

Frank didn’t tell Nancy that he was in the army also to not upset her more .

Nancy felt something towards him too so she wanted to give him a chance to prove that he is different .

 She went home after an hour of Frank talked about himself .

She felt so happy ,but he is german !

“ I should wait ,he’s German , it can’t be that easy “ Saif Nancy to herself 

Beside her feelings about him , the problem was what will she say to her mother ?

The Germans made her suffer along all those years and her daughter brings one of them to the family .!!

• Nancy and Frank met many times after that , they felt that they really love each other ,they complete each other .

But the feeling of guilty surrounded Nancy as she haven’t told her mother yet 

She told Frank about what’s going in her mind 

“ I should meet her Nancy , I can persuade her “ said Frank 

• Later , Nancy told her mother that she loves a guy and he wants to meet her .

Mary's feelings covered her as her daughter finally found the right man for her and she trust Nancy so much so that she felt he was the right one .

She accepted to meet him ..

• On the other side Frank was preparing for this meeting like he was going to meet the queen of England 

“ hello Madame ,I am so glad to meet you “ said Frank to Mary 

Nancy didn’t tell her mother anything about Frank she preferred to let him do this .

Frank talked first about being German and explained that he was against his country polices and that he lived here for many years with English people “ the age of war has gone Madame “.  

At last Frank persuaded Mary to marry Nancy and besides Mary didn’t complain as she knew that her daughter loved him 

• A month later , Nancy and Frank got married , they were over the moon 

They lived a good life with each other , full of love and peace 

“ If I will choose the best thing that happened in my life it will be you Frankie “ said Nancy 

• It’s 1965now , Frank and Nancy got their first baby they called him Peter 

It was the moment of their life .

Peter was a beautiful child who looked like Frank so much.

But Nancy at that moment remembered her father and that he died without seeing her 

She couldn’t stop herself from crying 

Frank asked about the reason and she told him .

 “ I didn’t ask you about your father Nancy how did he die ?” 

Asked Frank 

Nancy remember every story her mother told her 

“ My father ..Robert Wayne , he was an amazing army man , he was in the war , he showed great bravery , he had a full faith of winning this war and that what happened “ 

Mary continued “ my mom told me that he was killed by a Nazi attack on his military base “ 

Frank cannot believe what he was hearing , Robert Wayne was his target in the war !!!!

He was in the attack that killed him !! 

He decided not to talk about anything until the right time .

“ He should be proud of you now honey “ said Frank .

• Peter was like an angel that fallen upon them , he took their love and care , they wanted him to be the best boy and to grow right .

It’s Sunday morning 1970 , Frank , Nancy and Peter are sitting listening to the radio , and unfortunately they were talking about the war . They decided to listen normally as it’s a past and it’s gone .

They were talking about the brave men in the war and by chance it Robert Wayne turn .

“ Robert Wayne a great man in the war “ Nancy surprised that they are talking about her father she was very happy while Frank hoped to disappear that time ,but he kept his calm 

“ He died due to a Nazi attack , prepared by Peter hansman “ said the radio 

Peter hansman was Frank’s leader in the war ....Frank got more nervous 

“ And now we have a great man who was in the war he is SIR / DIXON PARKER ..SIR DIXON CAN YOU TELL US MORE please “ at this time Frank went away leaving Nancy alone with Peter .

“ i heared you just said about Robert Wayne he was one of the best in the English army and fortunately we got the leader of the attack that killed him and we got the names of the team shared in this thing and we can tell you their names but by the way according to policies between Germany and England they were free to live “ 

“ hey honey come to hear this “ said Nancy to Frank who didn’t answer her

Frank Olson !!!! 

Whaaat !!!! Nancy heared the name with a shock 

She ran quickly to Frank , “ Frank you were in the war ?? “ 

“ Why are you asking this “ said Frank 

“ please answer me Frank ...your name was said in the names who killed my father in a Nazi attack is that really you “ asked Nancy with a crying shout 

“ Nancy look I was 18 they took all youth above 18 to the war if I ever thought of refusing an order I would be killed “ 

“ he was like an enemy Nancy if I didn’t do that he would do ,, your father would kill me if he had the chance “ 

Nancy listened with crying , shock and non understanding.

“ Mary I didn’t tell you because I love you , it wasn’t my decision , it wasn’t my fault Nancy “ said Frank with a cry 

“ believe me honey , it is gone , the war has gone it’s our time now , and we have pet..” Nancy interrupted his words ...” Frank you killed my father and asking me to act normal , you say it’s a past! , my mom suffered for years because of this and I ..I don’t even remember my father’s face and all of that because of you !!! “ said crying Nancy 

“ Nancy I killed your father , I shared in that I admit but I swear it wasn’t all about me I would be killed “ Frank said 

" Frank I am between choosing my father or my love but ...."

At that time Nancy fainted and fell on the floor

• It’s 1- Feb 1971 , it’s Nancy birthday and also peter's 

They are now celebrating his 1st birthday with a big cake and 2 surround it Nancy and Mary 

• It’s 1975 ....Nancy is now a big doctor in a classy hospital in London , she is happy , comfortable and satisfied 

On the other side Frank returned to Germany he is a coo in a big company there but unhappy . uncomfortable,unsatisfied 

Everything gone his wife his daughter and even his good life .

But they both belived one thing “ the war destroy lives “
