Christian Friendship Kids

The three most difficult words.

To utter.

To mutter.

Mumble.

Stumble.

Grumble.

To admit.

We were wrong.

(Hint: Not the three words……….)

Admittance of guilt.

We are there.

In the state of confusion.

In a state of who is on first.

In a state of haze and daze and incessant finger point.

Lowering the bar at all costs.

Mostly at one another’s—cost.

In order to raise ourselves up higher and higher.

By any ways or means or leans.

Intentions. Motivations.

And. The like.

Three important words.

What is love?

Nope.

Not it.

What is hate?

Nope.

Not it either.

What is hurt?………

When push comes to shove comes to hit comes to hate.

What is left to say?

Thinking of others, friends, and their worth is often enough to drive away an army of fears, regrets, and envies.(wjb)

The worst of these.

The envies.

We say:

“I want what you have comes hell or high water.” We finally admit. Quietly. To ourselves. Will do whatever it takes.

Whatever it takes. Even if and when it means wrecking another.

We have only ourselves to blame when we look the other way. Fail to say something when we see something or see something when we say something.

God only knows.

Praise Him for His patience with us.

Black or White.

Outcast or Friend.

Favorite or Favored.

Idol or Idoltry.

SONNET XXIX

When, in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes,

I all alone beweep my out cast state,

And trouble deaf heaven with my bootlegs cries,

And look upon myself, and curse my fate,

Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,

Featured like him, like him with friends possess’d

Desiring this man’s art and that man’s scope,

With what I enjoy contented least;

Yet in these thoughts myself despising,

Haply I think on thee, and then my state,

Like to the lark at break of days arising

From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven’s gate;

For thy sweet love remember’d such wealth brings.

For when I scorn to change my state with kings.(wjb)

Scorned.

Like a women.

Like a man.

Like meanness personified as artificial intelligence.

There is nothing artificial about wisdom.

Learned.

Earned.

And. All the lessons in between.

Life throws trials, big and small in our direction everyday.

Every day.

Who to believe.

What to believe.

Where to put one’s trust.

Trust.

Is not a four letter word at all!😃

It is when we try to cover up the wreckage we leave behind and pawn it off on another. That the wreckage takes on a life of its own. It is not ours. But. it becomes the drag.

Friendship. Can be a fickle beast of frenzied envies. Chaotic and chaos in the same room. Damage control of epic proportions.

Who will you allow in the passenger seat of your life to drive away your army of fears, regrets and envies.

Someone you can “handle.”

Someone you can “manhandle”.

Someone you respect.

Someone you trust with your life.

Great question. Important one, too.

When clicking the vehicle of your freedom loving motivations and intentions.

Think about it.

While the freedom still exists, to.

Think about it.

The past informs our futures.

In both big ways and small ways and means, and meanings.

SONNET XXX

When to the sessions of sweet silent thought.

I summon up remembrance of things past,

I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought,

And with old woes new wail my dear time’s waste:

Then can I drown an eye, unused to flow,

For precious friends hid in death’s dateless night,

And weep afresh love’s long since cancel’d woe.

(That Shakespeare was a prophetic thinker of all things cancelling🥵)

And moan the expense of many a vanish’d sight:

Then can I grieve at grievances foregone,

And heavily from woe to woe tell o’er

The sad account of fore-bemoaned moan,

Which I new pay as if not paid before.

Which I new pay as if not paid before.

But if the while I think on thee dear friend,

All losses are restored and sorrows end.

Which I new pay as if not paid before.

And.

On and on and on and on and on the cookie crumbles as we lean in for a nice big bite.

We spend.

Spend. a lot of “free time” trying to convince ourselves. And others.

That.

”I didn’t do it?”

”I wasn’t even there.”

Yeah.

Right.

The stakes have become the self fulfilling prophecy.

Make it rain?

Only He can.

”The quality of mercy is not strain’d.

It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven

Upon the place beneath. it is twice blest:

It blesses h him that gives, and him that takes.

Give and take.

’Tis mightiest in the mightiest; it becomes

The throned monarch better than his own crown.

His scepter shows the force of temporal power,

The attributes to awe and majesty,

Wherein doth sit the dread of fear and kings;

But. mercy is above the sceptered sway;

It is enthroned in the heart of kings;

It is an attribute to God Himself;

And earthly power doth then show likes God’s

When mercy seasons justice.

A dash of honesty+a dash of reality=Justice.

Keep your eyes, ears open.

If you blink. you may miss “it”

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Yes.

More important.

Admittance of guilt.

Admittance of failed personal responsibility.

Keeps the apple cart cranking moving.

But does not fix the problem.

Friends.

Friends.

Envoys of Envies.

We seek and find only what we want in times of chaotic chaotic-ness. What we want. What we want and what we need can be two completely different motivations and intentions.

Aceept the things I cannot change.

Seak the courage to change the things I can.

Discover. Through trial.

The wisdom to know the difference.

Knowing. Is more than half the battle.

It is the battle.

Otherwise.

The rest of the army of fears, regrets and envies becomes an even bigger envoy of a watered down mess.

It is time for you to get to work.

The hard work.

I am sorry.

To be the bearer of this news.

For you.

Been there.

Done that.

Again.

I am sorry
