What would YOU do if an Isabella O' Conner enters your life? Would you welcome her with open arms, or would you lock your doors and call the police? My initial reaction would be to call the police, but it turns out we were blood. Well, kind of. Let me tell you the story of how I met her.

It was a somber afternoon. I had just finished my late Christmas shopping for my family, and was both physically and emotionally drained. I was driving in my maroon jeep, when I received a series of strange text messages from an unknown device. Just brushing them off, I continued to keep my eyes peeled on the road. I knew that wasn't enough to keep them from bothering me, and I was right. They were persistent, saying they needed money. It amused me, really. I didn't think much of it. I just kept my phone on vibrate. The brief ten minutes on the highway were the longest of my life. Every part of me wanted to throw my Samsung out of the window. Finally, I cracked, and texted back. "Whats your problem!" I texted, my fingers flying off my keyboard. " I don't know you!". As soon as I hit send, they requested a video call. Gulp! I knew it wasn't professional to leave them on edge, so I accepted. "Hello?" I said in a groggy voice. A peppy woman answered. Her curly brown locks bounced as she talked. " I am, like, SO excited to see you, Daniel!" She exclaimed. I rolled my eyes. How did she know my name? " Who are you, exaaaaactly?" I dragged my words. "My name is Isabella O' Conner". She looked offended. " I'm your cousins aunts brothers daughters sons cousins sister!," Isabella said, as if it was common knowledge. " So technically, we're family". Um.. Barely.. " Tha.." she cut me off. " I kinda need a place to stay for Christmas, and a couple of bucks, so maybe we can be roommates?" she said sheepishly. "Uh.. No". Sudden pause. " But we're, like, blood!" Isabella whined, shaking her fists. Before she can hypnotize me into letting her live with me, I hang up.

Knock Knock!

I put down my cup of Joe, and open the door. " Hello again, Danny!" a shivering Isabella exclaimed. I face palm. " Please leave before I call the federal police.." I grumbled Her face fell. "But I thought we were going to be r-r-roommates..". I noticed a sparkly green suitcase behind her back. "No we're not" I stammered, my face flushed. I did not, 100%, want her moving in with me. I couldn't afford a bowl of cereal for four people every morning, let alone another human being. Isabella pushed her way through me, and went upstairs. " I'm going to settle in the guest room, okay? Make me latte, too. It was really chilly outside" she demanded, sashaying into the hallway. It was over..

I'll set the scene. A sparkling green Christmas tree was placed in the middle of the den. Presents of all shapes and sizes were carefully tucked under it, glistening in the light. Three happy kids were waking up from a peaceful sleep, coming to check out their awesome gifts from "Santa". A nosy spoiled brat in a giraffe onesie was coming down the stairs, flipping her hair and smiling. My stomach was doing gymnastics, as I approached them. " Merry C-C-Christmas!" I mumbled, sitting next to my children and a very annoying Isabella. " Santa really outdone himself this year!" my oldest son, Jacob squealed. He was hugging a custom PlayStation he had been begging for. My youngest son brightened as he opened his gift. The new Leap Frog watch. " Thanks, Santa!". My middle daughter opened her gift, too. " A nail polish kit? You rock!". Isabella wrinkled her nose at me. " Where's MY gift?'' She demanded, scowling at me. I handed her a medium sized box. " Here!". Isabella snatched it from my hand and began tearing it apart. As soon as she saw her gift, she growled at me. I gave her coal. Suits her right. Isabella threw a tantrum. She looked at my kids, and smirked. " DO YOU KNOW SANTA IS FAKE?!". My heart thumped in my throat. " No he isn't! He's real!" I exclaimed. She looked at me, a sinister grin on her face. And then crushed their dreams.

That's the story of how I met Satan's brothers cousins sisters mom's daughters brothers aunt.
