Your mission. Should you dare to accept:

Squaring the circle.

Hint and/or Hypothesis:

Improbable?

Probably impossible?

Posssibly improbable?

Improbably impossible.

You get the drift.

The problemo. The challenge: Constructing a square with the same area as a given circle by using only a finite number of steps with compass and straightedge.

🤣

Having fun yet?

😉

The solution transcends time and space. Space and time. There is rationality to the equation’s answer.

And.

The answer is usually staring at us right in the face.

Smack dab in the face of the obvious.

Smack dab in the face of obvious oblivion.

Ahh. All points in a plane that are given distance from a given point, the centre. The theories of geometry, astronomy and calculus beg for its mercy.

The secant. A line of definitive definite ness. The secant denotes finality of the ties that bind good and evil.

Round and round and round it goes. When perfect, it is an idea. No one human can see a perfect circle. no one can SEE transcendence. Can they? Transcending cultures and time. (wk)

Sounds kinda sneaky and snakes.

Continuous.

Magical.

Serpents feed on their own end of their scaley bodies. They continually devour themselves in a symbolic nature of being re born. A cycle of destruction and re-creation.

Kinda like “Haven’t we been here before?” Chemical change. A symbol of mobility. An instrument of torment. (Wives to husbands and husbands to wives)😵‍💫

Cathedrals around the world owe their beauty and wisdom to God the Geometer. He held a pair of compasses, (moral compasses) to navigate a world of unknowns.

”When he established the heavens I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the deep.”

The ultimate geometric figure, perfect, infinite, representing the divine.

What is perfection? What is an enigma? What is the answer to the question such as when the hamster wheel seems to relentlessly go round and round, what do we do with the devastation? The devastating consequences?

Will there ever be true cohesion again?

Can the bullet points be ticked off in a final expression of exit?

  1. Reconciliation of opposites.
  2. Transcending duality.
  3. Finding a middle ground between extremes.
  4. Mediating between the earthly and divine.

Vague and specific to be joined at the hip or forever left apart? When the unknown is hidden from our conscious, when do we know or do we dig into the subconscious for an answer?

It becomes not so much a question then about squaring the circle. Ethics and personality oftentimes drive us backwards rather than forwards….. from where we started. Depending on the situation may be a good thing or a bad thing. The “funny” thing about the differences between good and evil is:

Will you know it when you see it?

Will you be hilariously laughing at something not funny, or stonefaced at hearing the joke of the year? For some the hamster wheel goes round and round and jumping off is a never ending feat and a self-fulfilling prophecy, of exhaustion.

Try this remedy.

Try that remedy.

Try ANYTHING, just to get the rat out of the mind.

The ability of our individuality to resist the collective sources of society is important. (cj) This requires we face our greatest fears.

The existence of good and evil and the capacity for evil in every individual. (aka/ l did not think he/she was capable of this/that.) Resist the sum total of the individuals. Never an easy task.

Fear and hope are two four letter words. Bad four letter words. Debilitating even.

For example, the list of fearfuls may be endless. To name just a few:

Greatest fears:

Spiders

Bugs.

Heights.

Driving.

Dying.

Vegetables 😊

Water.

Losing someone we love.

No progress.

Stagnation.

Try the treadmill instead?

Nope. Still the same old same old. Being busy and looking busy are really the same two things. Let’s give the little fella break, for goodness sake. His little stub legs are getting tired running round and round. No matter how motivated he is.

I think they call it a running backwards.

Who in their right mind would want this? Lack of progress to persist? Not the little rodent with the stubby legs and certainly not the human who knows better.

Right?

Not exactly.

Some folks just like to watch others—-squirm. (Remember the serpent who keeps going after his own tail…….and then eats it.)

What to do. What to do.

Fight like hell.

Because old habits may die hard, but they do eventually die one way or another—with us along for the ride, or left in a big giant heap of you know what.

Opinions will vary. As will recollections. Memories fade or take up rent in the back corners of our mind ready to be busted open at the next bomb-like loud noise or shattered glass moment.

The best we can hope for in the middle of it all is the axis of accountability. The axis of division may be the only think left to conquer. It could takes eons. Eons. Perhaps that is why it is often said that the way a person “looks at it” may be the greatest gift of all.

Potatoe

Tomatoe

Tomato

Somewhere in there lies the truth. We can fact check until the cows come home. However, it is importing to remember, some of them do not—-come home.

Thus the circular motion of our grand and beautiful earth rotating on its axis is actually a 23.5 degree tilt. What are we left with? Beautiful changes of the seasons. Solstices and Equinoxes and longer days and shorter days. Dust and gas and all things earthly.

As little children and tiny toddlers learn to walk, and the aged senior attempts to get to the nearest chair— even the earth wobbles from time to time.

All the more reason to stick to what we think is right. Even if and when it feels like we go round and round and round. Alone. Somewhere in the dizzying motion is the center of our world. We simply need to get to know it better😉.

Locust of common sum.
