A flicker of light

A flicker of light and she appeared in some beautiful and unusual place. There was a beautiful garden around, the trees and flowers were different, but at the same time they complemented each other. The sounds of birds were heard, the sun was shining. It was so harmonious and calm there that she forgot about everything, about all her failures and achievements, did not think about the past or the future. The girl was sure that this was a dream, but she did not want to wake up. She just wanted to be and feel this moment as the most beautiful in her life. She just closed her eyes and felt her presence. This magical place gave her back to her, that girl who once dreamed and believed, who wanted to love and be loved in return. The girl looked around, at every detail, as if she was afraid to miss something very important, she looked very carefully in the hope that she would have the opportunity to return to this magical place one more time. Walking, she saw a fountain and decided to get closer. The sounds of the water were like heaven to the ears, like the most beautiful melody. She began to dance listening to the sounds of the water. Her movements were beautiful, calm and at the same time filled with bliss. There was a light, sweet emptiness in the girl's heart. Is she really happy? Feelings of happiness were foreign to her. Thoughts of past events and worries about the future simply did not give her the opportunity to enjoy the moment. Happiness was always inside, she just didn't notice it. I wonder if people always do this? Do they only appreciate when they lose? The girl spoke to herself.

After a while, she wanted to return to the place where her walk began, but suddenly she saw a woman. The woman had blond hair and blue eyes, The girl asked her "where am I." The woman smiled instead of answering. Her smile fascinated and warmed the soul, and in her deep and kind eyes one could feel care and love. The girl involuntarily smiled back and said that she really likes it here. Before leaving, the woman asked her 2 questions "Were you happy?" "Have you made someone happy?" The girl thought. She was so focused on her problems and failures that she forgot about the main thing, about the meaning of life of every person, about love for herself and for others.

Looking back, she realized how beautiful her life was. How much the universe loved her and cared for her. She realized that all the failures and not-so-good events that happened to her were blessings in disguise. She realized that her path began when she was in pain, when she did not know where to go, she was already on her way. She realized that everything is right exactly the way it is. That she was always in the right place for her and the experience she had that was right for her. Yes, she experienced many disappointments in her life, and this wound bled for a very long time, but this experience hardened her, made her stronger and wiser. After the girl smiled, looked at the sky and said thank you. Thank you for your love, for loving me and not leaving me alone even if I do not do very well. I am grateful for this life for every event, for the people who surround me.

 Gratitude and love is all that was inside the girl.
