Mr. Samurai- hey Barbie Girl! What's up? 👋
Barbie Girl - hey Mr. Samurai. Konnichiwa 😊 how have you been?
Mr. Samurai-haha! Pretty impressed Barbie Girl. Konbanwa (good evening) . I'm doing great. How about you?
Barbie Girl - I’m very well too. Thanks for asking.
Mr. Samurai- well.. knowing a bit of an international language is helpful in the longer run you see. After all, I do possess all the amazing qualities of a Mr. Samurai like, smartness, intelligence, focus, zest and zeal and what not.. A true warrior at heart.
Barbie Girl -oh is that so?
Mr. Samurai - yeah... by the way, the hair clip you're wearing is exactly that of my sister's... I must say your hair is very beautiful.
Barbie Girl - thanks Sam. I mean Mr. Samurai ⚔️ . So, tell me about yourself. What do you do?
Mr. Samurai - I'm a student in grade 10 in St. Stephens high school. And not to forget, I am a record-breaking topper. How about you?
Barbie Girl- woo.. nice... I had always wanted to study there.. I study in grade 7 in St. Bishop school.
Mr. Samurai - cool... My neighbours study there. Have heard some really weird stories of your school.. but nevermind. It is slowly progressing and coming somewhere close to St. Stephens though.
Barbie Girl- oh really? well... Tell me more about yourself.. How did you get to know about this app?
Mr. Samurai- Well, it wasn’t some random stroke of luck that led me to discover this app. There’s actually a deeper connection behind it. One of the creators of this chat app is my best friend, and I was the one who gave him the idea for it. It all started with a conversation we were having about the rapidly changing world and the increasing need for people to be more connected — both locally and globally. The idea just came to me: what if there was a platform that allowed strangers in a locality, to connect with one another, share stories, exchange experiences, and build network?
Think about it — in today’s world, with globalization and the massive amount of networking opportunities we have, it just felt like something was missing. We live in a time when technology can unite people across continents, but what about creating a space for locals to connect with one another in a more personal and meaningful way? That’s where the idea for the app took shape. It’s not about age or background — it’s about creating a platform where anyone, regardless of age or gender, can interact and share their stories in a way that feels organic and fulfilling.
you see Barbie Girl, in Japanese there is a saying that goes like, "Sannin yoreba bunshu no chie" it means "collective wisdom can be stronger than individual knowledge."🙂
Barbie Girl- oh man 🙌🏼 how smart you are Mr. Samurai!! I wish I could know so much like you...
Mr. Samurai- haha!! You see, all these things are taught to us in school. After all, studying in the best school in town has its own perks right 😉
Barbie Girl - true that 🙂 so.. who all are there at your home?
Mr. Samurai - I stay with my parents, grandmother and an annoying younger sister. She does trouble me a lot, but I know how to handle such people very well. Patience, kindness is the only way. Being an elder brother is a great responsibility. But you won’t understand 🙂
Barbie Girl - I have an elder brother, who is super annoying ... and patience is just not how he must be dealt with 🤣
Mr. Samurai- haha! you have a good sense of humour I must say!
Barbie Girl- oh thanks Sam. I mean Mr. Samurai.
Mr. Samurai - it's fine. Sam, Samurai, I'm good with all.
Barbie Girl- in which grade does she study by the way?
Mr. Samurai - She's in the same grade as you. I teach her, but her grades seem to be stuck low no matter how much I work hard with her. Even our parents are fed up.
Barbie Girl - Haha, don’t worry! I’m sure she’ll make you all super proud one day. So, Mr. Samurai, do you have any other hidden talents I should know about? Besides being a super smart topper and a tech visionary, of course.
Mr. Samurai - Well, besides being an all-knowing Samurai, I’m also pretty good at solving puzzles, playing chess, and I can do a pretty mean impression of a cat.
Barbie Girl - oh wow! and how is your karate class going that you're taking from the karate champion, Mr Kamake himself?
Mr. Samurai- what? How on earth do you know that?
Barbie Girl - because I am that annoying sister of yours 😈... you silly!
Mr. Samurai - What! Rachel!!. You're dead now 💀. You're chatting up with strangers.
Do you have any idea how dangerous it could be? And are you done with the mathematics assignment I gave you yesterday ?
Barbie Girl - Ofcourse big brother. I was done with that yesterday itself. Your sister ain't that dumb as you’re telling others right?
and why are "you" chatting up with strangers?
Mr. Samurai- But.. how'd you figure it out?
Barbie Girl- who else could be so obsessed with japanese and samurais, and longing to study in St Stephens and of course, faking being a senior student, as much as you. But what i'm thinking is.. what if mom finds out about all this?
Mr. Samurai - well.. you too are in the same jungle sister. Don't forget that. If I die, I'll take you down too. Now, shut up. And immediately get back to studies. These leaves are for exam preparation and not using such apps. Silly girl!
Barbie Girl - you too should think about focusing on your lectures in school instead of wasting time on these apps. Does Dad know you’ve taken the phone to school?
