So, I don't know a lot of people on Reedsy, I'm not popular and I'm okay with that. Sometimes it's hard to remember that these people are real, have feelings. So, downvoter, God loves you so much and if you read this, know that your actions are affecting people in a negative way and God is watching you, walking beside you and calling for you to turn to him.

Blxxii emailed you endless and endless times, however, you ignored. She needs you to respond. WE NEED you to reply, please.
It's all about downvoting.
"Oh, this is just a thing about downvoting, B-O-R-I-N-G!"
And then you skip.
This is an important message, Reedsy.
Our friend Ari Reynes, has been downvoted from 4,600 to 1,000. This is unacceptable and the hard-worked for points are gone-poof. This isn't a threat, but a lot of people are taking breaks from Reedsy. Some aren't sure about coming back.
Blxxii plans on leaving Reedsy for the sake of downvoters- (She is more concerned about her friends.)
I, Bucky, plan on staying Reedsy for the sake of stopping downvoters- I am more concerned about everyone.
This is a time when downvoters are striking the most-either from multiple accounts or just from teaming.
Sadly, the Marshmallows are practically gone.
I wasn't here when all that happened, however, I suspect that that's the reason why Marshmallows were created; the cause of downvoters.
I have just checked, and many of my friends were downvoted 5,000 points down. Literally. Want me to list a view? Sure! I'll gladly, but I bet that'll be the rest of the story.

As you can see, downvoting is making people feel... hurt. Perhaps it may sound stupid just to quit Reedsy just because of some stupid downvoters-well, it is. Wanna know why? 'Cuz your friends are just gonna be there and upvote you. When others were downvoted, it was a battle between the downvoters and our friends (obviously our friends won.)
The upvoting button SHOULD BE A THING.
The downvoting button SHOULDN'T BE A THING.
Reedsy, I doubt you'll ever see this message because...
1. You never respond to Blxxii's emails.
2. Your boss would never (probably) see this.
3. You'd let the downvoting button exist anyway even after everyone left Reedsy, huh?
4. You created the downvoting button in the first place.
All I'm asking is:
Remove that downvote button.
Remove that down-arrow.

I'm really new, but I agree you have to be actively engaged and contributing to this community to build points. I am not sure what purpose down-voting serves? If you don't like something for some reason, leave a constructive comment, or nothing at all, and just find something you do like.

It's just whether their points go up or down. I really think it's becoming way too dramatic. The only reason I posted this is because someone asked me to. I honestly don't see why it matters. The points don't do anything.
