Romance

Julia walked into Josh and Daniel Bruins party.

"This will be it." Julia told herself, "This will be the party where you find a really hot, cute, nice, fun, smart, kind, tall-ish, perfect, loves fruit punch, attractive boy. Just perfect. This will be the party. The right time. If it’s not- well, it will be."

Julia took a deep breath. Hooo. Julia stepped in. She looked around. Viola, Chim, and Hector where there. OK. So? Where was her first true love? Bobby. Sam. Coral. Mirana. Cinnamon. Anoy. Violeta, Vio, Twen-Chang, Ali Rose, Elenore, Samuel, Leiriea, Liam, Ian, Arianna, Coleton, Charles, Zoey, Vi, Diana, Jade, Jane P and Jane D, Emerca, Vick. No cute... wait. Julia looked to her left. Unknown to Julia, sweet, blonde hair, cute, drinking fruit punch, her favorite, eating rolled up cinnamon squares just like she did. Perfect. Julia walked over.

"Hey, what's your name?" Julia asked

"Um, hi," he stuck out his right hand and Julia shook it as he kept talking, "I'm Amore."

"Ooh. Amore. Is that Latin?" Julia questioned

"Uh, no. It's actually Italian for 'love'" Amore said, blushing

"Oh, nice. That's a really lovely name. Who chose it, your mom, or dad?" Julia asked

"Oh, I have two moms..." Amore said sadly

"Oh! I'm so sorry, but what a coincidence! I have two dads! I'm also an only child, but my cousin, Ti-Moo, is almost like a sister."

"Cool! My cousin Mia is like a sister to me, too."

"Nice!"

"What's your name?"

"Mine is Julia. It's not Italian for anything. Ha."

"Hey, uh. I don't know you very well, but, maybe- uh- do you wanna maybe go to Charlie's grill on Thursday?" Amore asked

"Uh, YEAH!" Julia shouted, "I- I mean, sure, totally."

"Great. Mine number is 567-329-4466. What's yours?" Amore asked

"Mine's 567-290-3355. Um, I've gotta get home now, I've got a LOT of homework to catch up on. Math, reading, writing, science, history, basically all of them! Well, at least I got an A-plus in my Geography quiz last week! See ya on Thursday!" and with that, Julia walked out of the doors of the Bruins party happier than ever before.
