The Lantern Keeper

There was a village where a figure always goes and checks all the people's security after all the people sleep before he returns to his hut. This duty was hereditary. But one day, as he was going to check with his lantern as usual, he reached the forest when he saw a shadow, but what he saw in the forest, he had heart failure and collapsed. The next morning, people around found the person and brought him to his house. But everyone wonders why he went to the forest, especially at night, when nobody goes there at night. Robert Black, born in a very poor family, has stayed in this village for decades. He was a farmer by day and went out at night with a lantern. He had a boy and a girl. His wife Ema dies due to a natural calamity. Taking care of the children was really difficult for Robert. But sometimes, while he was in the field, the neighbours took care of the children. But Robert starts to change in his behaviour after he fainted in the forest. Everyone, including his children, was stuck seeing the change in his behaviour as soon as he woke up after a few days. As soon as the night crept in, he went to the same forest where he had fainted, but nobody knows why. In another timeline, another figure was performing a ritual, and there was a photo hanging of Robert, who had died 2 years ago. A girl comes and asks the figure to have dinner. The figure becomes angry as this was the first time someone tried to destroy his ritual. After the figure comes to the room out of rage, he kills the woman. Then the figure goes to the bar where he finds another lady and gets married to her, and brings her home. Newly married Elena finds the house suspicious. She saw that many suspicious things were present in every corner of the house, but she was unable to ask the figure, as she rarely knew the person. Because he marries Elena without talking to her. She was surprised that night when a stranger married her out of nowhere. Soon, after a few days, the lady gets pregnant with her first child. The person told the doctor to reveal the gender to him, though it was illegal. The doctor, out of fear, reveals that it's a girl. Out of rage, the person plans to kill this lady like his first wife. But the next day, out of the person’s shock, the lady is nowhere to be seen. The person immediately sent people to search for the lady, but unfortunately, they could not find her. After a few years, Melisa Parker, who was are reporter and worked in an office. Her boss, Mr Steward, would find the article of this ritual, which was still going on still this day. He informed Melisa that a very old man has been performing the rituals for several years. But she needs to discover why this ritual was going on. And most importantly, who is this old man? In the meantime, while the old man was still in rage, as he never found his second wife, and especially the child. On the other side, Melisa talked about the project which she was assigned by her boss. But as soon as the other person hears this become pale. That person literally commanded her not to take up the project, whether she has to lose her job or not. The person calls the family to ask for Melisa’s hand in marriage to the family’s son. Soon, the family comes and declares Melisa’s marriage to the boy. Melisa has no option but to say yes. The marriage happened, and Melisa went to Sydney with her husband. With the passing time, Melisa forgets about the project she was assigned as she engages in different projects within Sydney. One day, Melisa discovered that her mother was dying and wanted to meet her for the last time. The next day, along with her husband, Melisa went to meet her mother. As soon as Melisa reaches, her mother tries to get up in happiness seeing Melisa with her husband. After a few sweet talks, the lady starts to narrate the dark secret that Melisa didn't know at all. Robert Black had a brother who was his twin. His name was Ralph Black. But Ralph had disappeared from the village mysteriously. And as soon as Robert’s father dies, the duty of watching the village people to make sure they slept well at night before he himself slept at home after Robert continued the process. Robert was a very good man. But that night when Robert reached the forest, he saw Ralph, who was the same as himself, and most shockingly, he was performing a hideous ritual where he killed girls, had sex with the body, then cut the virgina and then sacrificed the vaginal in the fire he lit in the forest and then he ate the burned vagina. Robert was stunned seeing these dirty acts from his brother, and when he confronted Ralph revealed that by this ritual, he would become immoral and young. Because according to girls and women’s are trash who should not exist on this earth.But as Robert threatened him to spread his misdeed to the villagers, he killed him and lived a life as Robert, but soon the villagers came to realise that he was Ralph. That is why when Melisa’s mother had to marry Rolph as his second wife and saw his vicious ritual, she ran away, taking Melisa in the fear of her baby. Melisa felt sick, including her husband. In the meantime, Ralph fails to find his wife, and Melisa finally gives up, and with age, he finally dies. After his death, the terror in the village stops. The girls start living happily. Also, the parents stop fearing losing them. Melisa writes these articles without going to the village, whatever she discovers from her mother, but after Ralph died, Melisa and her husbands visit the village the people who knew the incident mostly died.
