I was alone I was scared I was afraid to love again all my friends wanted to see me happy again but I can't after so many times being heartbroken I gave up on love but best friend have other plans she set me up on a blind date I didn't want to go I tried to make up every excuse so I couldn't go she told me that I need to put my fear aside she understands that I've been broken she understand that I've been hurt but I need to let that go and move on I guess she was right but how can you trust someone when everyone that you let in hurt you she tells me that the person I'm going to be going on a blind date with is a wonderful man he own his own company he is respectful funny outgoing and caring he's hard-working he is also looking for someone to settle down he also been hurt too but he's willing to give it a try I guess I will see what happened Friday

I cannot wait for this blind date Jasmine told me that her friend is very smart she worked her way through school she graduated top of her class she's looking to settle down but she's afraid of getting hurt again she told me that her friend was the most caring compassionate understanding person that you will ever meet she said her friend might have trust issues but she told me that anyone with her Past would I cannot wait to meet the person that so many people have talked about she told me that I might fall in love but I'm starting believe is that I guess she going to prove be different we will have to see Friday

Friday Friday was around the corner and Ke'Maya was nervous She haven't been on a date in a long time she didn't want to embarrass herself she was so nervous the best friend take her shopping just to find the perfect dress for this occasion what can I try to find another way out because her nerves get the best of her but with Jasmine as a best friend it was impossible do not do anything that she ask

Derek

Was also nervous he was more confident then Ke'Maya he made sure that he picked the perfect he wants to make the great first impression he was looking forward to this one more day after Friday did he finally get to see the first thing he heard so many people talking about he hoped that she would love for who he is not for what he got

When Friday got here Derek prepares his self he took his time to get ready and when it was time for him to leave he did they was going to meet at the restaurant he couldn't believe it he was finally going through put a face to the name he heard so much about

And when she walked in he knew right then and there he fell in love at first sight

Ke'Maya I was nervous as she walked into the restaurant her eyes landed on this man he took her breath away he was beyond handsome he was a Greek god there's no way he will be interested in the ground like me as he stood he held out his hand and said " my name is Derek and you must be Ke'Maya I heard so much about you is nice to finally put a face to a name and may I say you look very gorgeous tonight"

She blush you couldn't believe that for the night they talked all night long into the restaurant close well he walked up to her car it made a promise of a second date for the both of them they might just found love again

Derek went home and told his best friend all about Ke'Maya that's all he talked about they talk about my phone all the time they made plans for their second date this is all Derek wanted was to find a girl that he connect with and settle down and he did the one thing he likes about her what's her beautiful smile maybe it's more than one thing because her personality was out of this world 

Ke'Maya went  home and thank her friend stop pushing hard to go on this blind date the man was incredible she was like unbelievable in the back of her head she was waiting for the other shoe to drop but it didn't they would talk all night on the phone she constantly talks about who I am she couldn't believe how perfect he was and when they made plans for their second date she was jumping for joy because she couldn't wait to see the man who gave her part a new reason to beat

It's all started with a blind date about a girl who was so broken and gave up on love and a man who wanted to give love a second chance never imagined that they will fall in love at first sight it wasn't part of the plan they were going to go on this date and maybe go their separate ways cuz it wasn't going to work but nothing goes as plan maybe just maybe you never know what can happen and who you be able to meet when you try to love again

So here's my advice if you think that there's no one out there for you and you gave up on love you might just pass the person that you really supposed to be with so so go ahead and give love a second chance because you never know the next man you talked to or woman maybe your soulmate
