Jumping out of bed like jumping jack flash, I was excited to get on the road again. I lived up stairs in my parents attic. We have a full house with siblings, 4, 6, 8 years of age. I was just 14. I had the genuine responsibility of caring for all of them. I had made plans with the Pink Dolls to join together at Gooseberry Park. I'm Beatrice Doodles, I have my Saturday all set in motion. I looked over to find my brown soiled laced up shoes to pull on. I needed the booty shoes because of my bike. Nice protection for my feet. You never know what your going to encompass. The shoe strings do need to be replaced with new ones. I just need to make the bow and then the double bow as to keep it from coming undone. Now the magic of disappearing I had to step lightly upon the floor boards and not to make a noise of creaking or stomping down to the kitchen. As with those three they can wake at a drop of a pin. I do need to catch something to eat, so I'll catch a bite at the restaurant. My pops heard me or what. I need money for shoe strings for my shoes dad. You know we had this talk before about your learning financial responsibility. Mr. Doodles was vague. But my parents don't expect me to sweat the small stuff my social attire becomes a social hour. A nice crispy five spot. Sweet. My dad knows I don't like the used bills. They seem to come accompanied with emblems and written dialogue to send notes, different colors of ink, pin holes and who knows what currency passes. Mr. Doodles let Beatrice know that he was pouring his coffee for the commons room before leaving. Overtime again. Can't turn it down. Thanks pops. Out the white screen door in the back careful not to slam and erupt departure. I found my red revel with my colored spokes and card still engaged as to make that pungent sound. Set up for the party mode for the parade downtown, What a gem. I pulled it out backwards and being careful not to scratch the utility truck. Usually no problem but it is blossoming flowers so you do the math. I headed on out to the road and there went the dogs. Mrs. Bellamy left hers out. In the summer time they hide in the cool spots they made by the bushes and I quickly made them quiet down by hushing there noisy antics. The dogs actually minded me and became quiet . Out the door sprang my father. He was headed down the road. I proudly engaged in to momentum and nodded at him. Off to the park. I got to the park and I turned around and here comes Mary Ashbee my good friend who is always so perfect. Beatrice Doodles are you ruff and ready? You know I am. Thought we go by Mr. Peabody's store for a few things. Let's wait a few to see if the others show. I always like showing off with Mary Ashbee. But I was getting real hungry. Besides the girls would pass by and we wouldn't miss them. I guess were just prompt and happy to enjoy our week-end. Let's go ahead and go on. Mary riding in her pink rosy metallic frame, black basket on the rear, and her red horn on the handlebars. Off to Peabody's. I went inside the store and I purchased one egg and cheese biscuit with a doughnut and sprinkles. Along came a white milk. Sunflower seeds and my red strawberry licorice with my sweet tarts for my back pack. Mary bought her mineral water, girlie magazine and cheese and crackers, sweet tarts and extra sweet tarts that zang we all longed for on Saturday. Say Mary to bad your boy Ernie isn't around. You don't have to worry Beatrice. If he was around he'd be buying for the both of us. We checked out and thanked Mr. Peabody as he was glad to see us. Mary told Beatrice that he is always thankful for their patronage as we promote his business and what is he doing this early in the morning hour? Besides he likes our company anyway. Sitting out on the seats of our bikes. I had just finished closing the bag and Mary yelled over here gang. The Pink Dolls ride again. Mary, Beatrice, Jody, Carmella, Laura. All-right lets ride. Off went their club down the road to rumble. Helmets and all with their unique pleasure to complete the club I joined. From the movie theaters to engage in a ball game with the guys down at Gooseberry Park, crash those weddings and birthday parties. Us girls have to have the up-to-date calendar of events to contribute our expertise in prominin. After our day mall shopping for back to school clothes we are all stopping off at the restaurant Duels for Wheels for burgers and waffle fries before charting our evening fiascos. Maybe even a slumber party for the hot summer nights. We might just get a camping party indeed. Say Carmella you still got that tent your family bought last month. Mary said I was thinking we could set it up over at Laura's place out in the back yard. They have a swimming pool with a torches and heater to make smore on. We can turn the jams on and share some designs for school and ideas to change our images and create something new and different. At least we can count on you Jody for a good scary story. The kind we pull the sleeping bags over heads or scream. What do you say how about later at Laura's place. I love to but I don't know you can count me out do to the fact that I get my day. Night planning needs more time as to my brother and sisters and giving my mother a break. Permission would have to be granted. Gosh, I sure can't wait until one of us is old enough to drive a car. My dad is always worried about bike riding. We can plan it for another time. Besides a lot premature for Laura and her parents. Mine are out of town. Enough mall shopping lets go enjoy our burgers at Duels for Wheels and we can finalize the night. I hope its not too busy. I don't like standing outside in a line to get in. Of course Mary putting her shopping bags into the basket mounted on the back of her bike. I have to drape mine over the handle bars . Beatrice announces no cheese for her as she's trying to watch her figure. As she wouldn't mind having a Ernie too. Mary doesn't think that it won't be long. Cheese isn't for everyone. I have to be in the mood for certain flavors that hit my palette. Lets talk over at that booth. I heard Ernie talking about some other fellows to join up with the Pink Dolls. Laura says I know when that happens I'm getting a chocolate shake. We can share it with two straws. Get it girls. I know how to spice it up. Say how about the slumber party. I don't recall any extra work after our burgers. Lets have a swimming pool party with a slumber party for the Pink Dolls. Let's set a date.
