Let's go to Grandma

Our paternal grandmother lives with us and maternal grandmother lives in Agra. Every year we go to pay a visit to her. There we have many relatives. So we enjoy a lot. But we go there only for a week. We go by a train. We go there on Sunday and return the next Sunday. My father comes on Friday. We go there every March but this this time we were going in summer vacation. This time my father was also going so I and my mother as usual packed our bags and kept almost everything ready. But my father as always, packs everything early morning, of the day we have to go. We got ready, took our bags and bid goodbye to my paternal grandmother. As we live in a 10 floor building, we have a lift. Living on the 7th floor, we always use it. So we entered in it and pressed the button 'GROUND Floor'. But when the lift was moving it had reached on forth only, it stopped. As now we were stuck, first we pressed the alarm button and father try to call someone, like the guard or something but again, no network network in the lift. I was quite ok because I knew what would happen if I would shout and hinder my parents. But the heat was quite enough to make me and my mother sweat, but oh what we saw, my father was almost wet with sweat. Finally after 5 to 10 minutes we were taken out. The lift has stopped many a times till now. Oh! but leave it that's an another big story. Let's return to the existing one. My father was frustrated but luckily he didn't say anything and we sat in the cab. Then we reached the bus station, took a bus and reached the Ambala station as we had a train from Ambala to Agra. We entered the station and asked from the office and then we came to know that our train is delayed by 30 minutes. So we waited. After 20 minutes again an announcement was made that our train will arrive after an another one hour. We were very upset but unfortunately we had no choice so we had to wait for the train to arrive and then finally our wait was ended and we boarded into the train compartment but unfortunately we had a second class compartment in that burning heat. The train started after sometime and the journey also. After that we felt hot so we requested the T.T. but he also denied, so we had no choice. There were some people coming and going, little bit of crowd was there in between but a lot on the stations. We were carrying our food also, so we had it. In between some vendors also came with for cold drinks, biscuits and many other things but when we had to travel, the always used to buy these things in advance. Because our parents know that I and my brother always want these things while traveling. So we had the things we had and enjoyed the journey. Then finally we reached our destination, Agra in the evening, very very tired I felt like sleeping but my mother asked me to have a bath. So I had obey my mother and go. So I went to freshen up and so I couldn't sleep but then afterwards I didn't feel sleepy. I greeted everyone nicely, had cold drinks chips and many other things there also and had fun on the day. Then my father had work maybe so then he also stayed there for the week but as usual or means like as we do every time, I have a cousin there of exactly my age, we are small and big in months rest in the same class and at the same age within months he is older than me so anyways leave it. We always gets 10 rupees daily from our maternal grand father. So we buy things like what ever we want to eat cookies, chocolates whatever you want. We also had fun when we went to visit our relatives and all and much more. I had a lot of fun in everything, everybody greeted us very nicely and served us with whatever best they can. We enjoyed our vacations a lot there and still remember the good days. My mother's real brother always used to bring ice cream or some sweet dish for us to have after the dinner,although they didn't buy in the regular days and he 



used to take me, my real brother and my cousin brother on his bike for a ride. We had very fun in night during the chilly winds while riding on the bike. We also used to see very nice movies While having dinner and the T.V. used to be turned on till the ice cream was not brought and so we had ice cream and then we talked a lot and also we were not sleepy at times and then finally around 11:30 we used to sleep then also we would not close our eyes, lying on the bed. Then finally we would feel sleepy so we slept at approx 12. So me and my cousins used to wake up late in the morning and the most interesting thing to me was stories. I was very fond of listening to stories. And as we were in different states and different schools, we had different books with different chapters. So I used to read his books. I was much satisfied with it and my cousin's interests were very different from those of mine so I had very unique and new stories so I was enjoying in reading books and he, he hated to see them even. He likes to play. My younger cousin had tuitions in the morning, so at that time me and my elder cousin used to play games on my mother and aunt's phone and enjoy a lot. Then finally Saturday came and we knew that we are going to go to the next day I was quiet sad but had fun. I most memorable thing, my maternal grandfather always buys things like sweets when we are going to go so he bought many sweets and this time also he did. Then we headed from Agra then again we have to go through that train journey. Again that hot and boring journey and all. We had to go, it is my home. So we reached there in the evening and told everything about our experience to our paternal grandmother and each time we come from there, we have a bundle of sweets and gifts and I am the most excited to open them as early as possible
