Crime Sad Teens & Young Adult

This story contains themes or mentions of suicide or self harm.

Part three.

Blacked out.

He barged through the door and broke it.

"Did you tell her?" He screamed while slapping her in the face hard.

"NO!' She cried and held on to her belly.

"Shes in the hospital for the love of god. She is a vegetable in a wheelchair. Because of what you did. He was a paranoid schizophrenic.

He smashed up her house. Leaving his pregnant girlfriend in tears as now in debt as she would have to pay for the damages. She had a black eye. Realizing that she had to call the police on him. This wasn't the first time that he had done this. She wondered if the neighbors heard him. Did they call the police on him to. She hoped so maybe she would have a couple of witnesses. When he blacked out you couldn't stop him. Like he was in a very dark place. He got stuck and couldn't stop himself.

When he was two his mum committed suicide by taking to many pills of Seroquel's. When he found her, she was foaming out of her mouth. His dad belted her and him on a daily basis. He started taking drugs at eight years old with his father. He didn't go to school because he was grieving and decided to do drugs instead.

He was thirty-four years old, and his girlfriend was thirty and she was pregnant with his child. He would have episodes

When he got to the hospital, he ran to her bed as he pushed a nurse over, she landed on the floor and hurt her back. She cried in pain and the other nurses rushed to her aid. She was a beautiful old thing. The nurse pointed at the room they were in so security could help. They rushed to her aid, and he grabbed her arm and flung to the floor breaking even more bones.

She was a paraplegic now. As security came in he ran to his car and sped off. He ran through a red light and caused two cars to collide one smashed into a telegraph pole which consisted of an elderly couple. The car split in two.

The other car had a teenage girl with major disabilities her career was driving and the girl died on impact because she flew four meters from the car through the windscreen. Her hole body was filled with glass and gravel from the road. Her family advocated for her and her career and so did the family of the elderly couple. Later finding out that he was on heroine he had enough for ten men in his system.

When he left, he went straight to the petrol station.

" How the fuck did he get a gun?" She wondered.

He put a gun to the shop Klerk's head and demanded cigarettes and snacks. The shop Klerk couldn't speak properly under pressure. He pressed the security button under the desk. He stalled him and the police came within ten minutes. He attempted to run but he did not get very far. When they got there, he resisted his arrest and punched a police officer. He blacked out and came out of it when the police got him.

They threw him on the ground put his hands behind his head while dropping his gun on the floor. He cried and screamed when they put him in the bull box. COWARD! He was put in a protection cell. The other prisoners were waiting for him. He to wrote her saying how sorry he was. But that wouldn't help her broken bones would it.? She ignored the letters and ripped them up and put them in the bin.

One day she was able to go home for a couple of hours. So, she burnt his patched-up bikie jacket and uploaded it online he followed them he was their delivery bitch. They were in to heavy drugs and protected woman who were going through domestic violence. They gave him heroine he would shoot it up into his veins and proceeded to sell it. Knowing his family would have a target on them if he fucked up watching their every move. She wondered why he was always in the bathroom for so long.

She had a hospital room that looked over the courtyard green grass covered with white tables and chairs for patients to sit at. Phones weren't allowed. No Wi-Fi. Totally clean. She could see lots of young people reading, it was their sanctuary.

This was a place that made people feel safe. She tried to get up but she couldn't she had broken her spine when she fell. She had to have a back brace that was on apart from when she went to bed. Because she was paralyzed the nurses put up the bed rails so she wouldn't fall out of bed. She needed help to go to the showers. She couldn't wash her hair or her body on her own.

A nurse had to help her while she was sitting in a shower chair. They changed the bandages on her arms, and they took off her two prosthetic legs.

She remembered everything as the days went strong and slow. She remembered jumping and how fucking cold it was. How sharp the rocks felt as she tried to plunge to her death. Almost bleeding out half dead. Right now, she was fragile. Triggers were fresh the cuts on her arms were bandaged up. She was pissed off because they would not let her outside, she had been here for so long now. In recovery for about three months. Most of the time she was out of it due to her medication.

Her prosthetics would go one step at a time. She couldn't walk or talk properly. When she was waiting for the waves to wash her away. She saw a beaming yellow light in the light came her grandmother she reached out her hand telling her to come with her. As she let go of her hand she said " No Don't. As she faded away up in the sky.

Ashlee, the line that struck me the most was, “When he blacked out you couldn’t stop him. Like he was in a very dark place.” It encapsulates the raw, uncontrollable nature of trauma and mental illness while subtly highlighting the cyclical devastation it can bring to others. Your ability to weave pain, desperation, and resilience into such vivid imagery is powerful and deeply moving. This story is beautifully intense and heart-wrenching, and I truly appreciate the depth you’ve brought to such a difficult subject. Great work, well-written—th...
