Romance Black Friendship

Reyna is a 19-year-old girl who has light skin and dark black silky hair. Her skin is smoother than the lotion and her skin had a bright glow. Most of the time, she wore torn denim shorts and a spaghetti strapped t-shirt. Reyna’s surname is Baldwin which, in this case, matches her identity. Baldwin means fearless. Reyna has exceptional personality traits. She’s got more than a million. Reyna lives with her large brother Prado and her little sister Kiira. They are referred to as the Baldwin children. The reason they live alone is because the mother and father fought during the war and died rescuing a small island. Reyna hated being a middle-aged kid. Her brothers and sisters always ask for her story. Reyna most of the time wish she could just find her true love and move out of that tiny hut they call a house and find a cozier place to call home. iv One Chapter 1 R eyna was on her way to the market to get the items on the list her brother had given her. She looked at the list: two watermelons, five apples, a bag of flour, two pounds of ground pork, a bag of carrots, and seven oranges. Reyna headed to the fruit stand first and began grabbing some oranges when a girl bumped into her, making her drop two of them. “Hey!” Reyna yelled. “You made me drop my oranges!” The girl turned around and looked at Reyna. Her silky red hair, lightly blued eyes, pale white skin with freckles only on her face, and appealing lips captivated Reyna. “I’m sorry,” the girl said, blushing as she handed Reyna the two oranges. She then brought her hand up to Reyna’s face and moved a strand of hair out of her eyes. “Hello, is anyone there?” 1 I Dreamt of Heaven Reyna snapped out of her trance. “Y-yes, I’m here,” she stuttered, taking the oranges from the girl. “Here,” the girl said, giggling as she grabbed five more oranges. “T-thank you,” Reyna replied. The girl then moved her head up to be looking into Reyna’s eyes, and they both stopped what they were doing to stare into each other’s eyes. “So,” the girl interrupted, “what’s your name?” “Reyna Baldwin,” Reyna replied. The girl’s eyes widened. “The Reyna Baldwin daughter of the Baldwin Knights?” “I would assume so,” Reyna replied. “So it seems you know me, huh?” “Yes, my parents were in war with the Nexus Knights. Your parents were the best knights in the Nexus Castle; they even had their own nickname.” After Reyna and Seiner confabulated for a while, Reyna finished gathering the items on her list. She then asked Seiner, “Want to hang out tomorrow?” “Sure,” Seiner replied, blushing. “Does this mean you’re setting up a date?” “If you’d like,” Reyna replied with a smile. “Okay, Reyna, it’s a date. But where?” Seiner asked. “On top of Gray Mountain tomorrow evening,” Reyna answeredR eyna woke up early the next morning and began getting ready for her date with Seiner. She put on a dress she had been saving for a special occasion, and put her hair up in a neat bun. She grabbed a small picnic basket with some of her favorite snacks and headed out the door. When she arrived at the top of Gray Mountain, Seiner was already there waiting for her. She smiled and waved as she approached her. “Hi Seiner,” Reyna said as she set down her basket. “Hey Reyna,” Seiner replied with a smile. “I brought some food too, if you’re hungry.” Reyna nodded and opened the basket. She pulled out a few 4 Chapter 2 sandwiches and some apples. “This looks great,” she said as she handed Seiner a sandwich. The two sat in the grass and talked for hours about everything from their families to their hobbies. As the sun began to set, Seiner stood up and held out her hand. “Come on, let’s go watch the sunset,” she said. Reyna took her hand and they walked to the edge of the mountain, hand in hand. They watched as the sun slowly disappeared behind the horizon and the stars began to twinkle in the night sky. “That was beautiful,” Reyna said, still staring at the sky. “It was,” Seiner replied, squeezing her hand. “And so were you.” Reyna blushed and smiled. “Come on,” she said, “let’s head back.” The two began walking back towards the city, still holding hands. As they reached the bottom of the mountain, Reyna turned to Seiner. “Thank you for today,” she said. “It was perfect.” Seiner smiled back at her. “It was my pleasure,” she said. “I’ll see you tomorrow?” Reyna nodded. “Absolutely,” she said. With that, they said goodnight and went their separate ways. 5 I Dreamt of Heaven As Reyna walked back home, she couldn’t help but feel happy. She had finally found someone who she could truly connect with. And she was looking forward to seeing her again tomorrow. 6 Three Chapter 3 T he next morning, Reyna woke up humming with anticipation. She couldn’t wait to see Seiner again and pick up where they had left off the previous day. She quickly got ready and headed out the door, eager to get to the top of Gray Mountain. When she arrived, Seiner was already there, waiting for her. She smiled in relief and ran to her, wrapping her in a warm hug. Seiner smiled and hugged her back, her arms encircling Reyna tightly. “I’m so glad you’re here,” Seiner said, pulling away and taking Reyna’s hand. Reyna smiled and squeezed Seiner’s hand. “Me too,” she said. 7 I Dreamt of Heaven The two began to walk through the forest, enjoying the peacefulness of the morning. They talked about their dreams and aspirations, and shared stories about their lives. Reyna felt like she could tell Seiner anything, and she felt completely comfortable with her. Soon, they reached a clearing in the forest. Seiner stopped and pulled out a small blanket from her bag. She spread it out on the ground and gestured for Reyna to sit down. Reyna sat down and looked around in wonder. The sun was just beginning to peak over the horizon, and the sky was turning a beautiful shade of pink and orange. She could feel a sense of peace wash over her, and she smiled up at Seiner. “This is perfect,” Reyna said, her voice barely above a whisper. Seiner smiled and nodded, her eyes twinkling in the morning light. She leaned in and kissed Reyna softly on the lips. Reyna felt her heart flutter as she kissed Seiner back. She felt like she was in a dream, and she never wanted it to end. She snuggled closer to Seiner and they watched the sun rise together, hand in hand. As the sun began to set, Reyna and Seiner said their goodbyes and headed back to their respective homes. Reyna couldn’t help but smile as she walked back home, feeling happy and content. She had found someone she truly connected with, and she couldn’t wait to see her again.
