I woke up this morning and made my bed, (My name is Manny by the way) quickly vaccumed the floor on lowest volume I could get it, and popped my clothes in the wash. I went to take a shower and took me a minute to get the warm water I wanted. A good minute, too. It didn't take long. I enjoyed my shower listening to my show runing from my youtube app on my Mom's phone. Opening the window after my shower, I wrote, "love my mirror" on the bathroom mirror with my finger while it was still foggy. I know the bathroom mirror is going dry off. It's just fun to write stuff on them. I got getting dressed in my clothes for the day. I wiped off the tub with a rag with the spray while the fresh air from window is drying everything else.
I went to check on the laundry, "Hey Mom, you're up. Here's your phone. I just got out the shower." "How was the water?" "Nice and warm!" I checked on the laundry and it's at the rinse cycle where it should be.
I went back in the house. In living room, "Hey! I was watching that!" "But, Mom -"
"No! I'm watching my show! You can watch later." "Ok." I decided to get me some oatmeal. I put oatmeal in a bowl with some sugar, butter, a thing chopped up apple slices that was in the fridge left over Mom chopped up yesterday. I put my bowl in the mircowave for three minutes.
Mom came in the kitchen to get her coffee from the coffee maker. "Whatcha making?" "I'm making some oatmeal, I'm hungry." "Hmm. I make a bash of muffins last night. There are on the kitchen counter if you wanna any." "Thanks." "Dana should be waking up soon." "Hmm. Did you eat a muffin?" "Yes, I just finished one. I was eating it while I was getting milk out the fridge." "You make pretty big muffins." "Thanks. I'll see you in the living room."
Ding! Ding! The mircowave sounded. It's done! I grabbed an oven mit. The bowl's hot. I grabbed a muffin on my way to the TV. Dana woke up, she is getting done sweeping the bathroom flow and rest of her room. Dana took her shower. Then in the kitchen Dana decided to boil an egg in the mircowave. It did take a minute. She grabbed a muffin Mom made and grabbed some milk out the fridge. "These are great muffins. There butter in tbe fridege? Wait. I think I see it on the top -" "Nope. It's on the middle shelf." "Oh!"
Watching TV with Mom. "Mom? How you sleep?" "I slept great." "Any good dreams?" "Not this time." "Crap." Said Dana laughing out loud. "It's fun to see how the host of this home make over show does well with her strokes when painting a ceiling." "Yeah, it is. She paints well. Did you see that star she started drawing there?" Manny said. "Yes, I did. It's real dazzling." Mom replied.
30 minutes later.
"Mom, did you see that birthday invitation Lindsey gave me?" Manny asked.
"Yes."
"Can we all go next weekend? I want to her a gift. She's been wanting that hoola hoop. She'll be 8 soon."
"Alright. Speaking of birthday parties. What about yours? Your eighth birthday is coming up next month."
"I just want a picnic in the park with living room radio. It should be loud enough."
"Good. I'll be sure to pick out and write the invites."
"Mom, I have to go do my rounds."
"Ok. You have fun."
Leaving the house. I went to get my toy car. I left my boxes in it and went to my neigbor's house. Mrs.Gally needed her dishes washed while her daughter, Sara was over to help Mrs. Gally take her shower.
Knock. Knock.
Sara opened the door. "Why good morning."
"Good morning Sara, I came by to get Mrs. Gally's dishes done."
"Come in. The kitchen's all yours."
"How's Mrs. Gally."
"She's doing very well. She water her plants this morning. I get her in the shower. We just had a wonderful breakfast."
I went in the kitchen and got a stool Mrs. Gally had. Mrs. Gally let me keep my stool in the house. I ususally, put soap and water in the sink how she likes it. She likes the store brand version. She likes how I have to use the dish washer machine. After I was done, I swept and with the rag I used my foot to wipe the floor with. I did use soap and used another rag to dry the flow with my foot.
I went to let Mrs. Gally and Sara know I was done. I got to the bathroom and Sara was still drying Mrs. Gally with the towel.
"Mrs. Gally, I've finished washing your dishes. I'll be here waiting."
"Alright dear. Go get your money you worked for off the coffee table. I'm paying you $10. It's in the living room. You have a good day. Sara is almost finished here. I can't wait to watch my soapopera on TV."
I went to her living room and found the money on the coffee table where she said she left. I noticed that shinny cup holder she always has on her table. She likes to have everything in one spot. Well kept, I'll have to say.
I left Mrs. Gally's and went back to my house to get my toy car off the front lawn. I drove out and stopped at the store and brought grocerys. I ususally can do two deliveries at a time. Ms. Frann's was the first on my list.
I knocked on Ms. Frann's door. She didn't answer this time but, left her door unlock. She ususally does let me drop off her groceries in her kitchen. So, I dropped off her groceries on her kitchen counter. I did put her frozen foods away in her freezer and the milk in the fridge.
Next house, Ms. Pat. I knocked on her door. "Hi, Manny. Did you get my groceries?" "Yes, ma'am I did. Here's the groceries right here." "Here's $10 you've worked for." "Thank you." "How's your mom doing? She's doing well. She worked hard this week. Dana's over at Ms. Tina's house delivering her groceries too. She gets her own money." "I'm happy for you both. How's school?" "Good." "Grades?" "B's. Ususally 87's." "I'm happy to here. You have a good day." "Bye."
I got to finishing dropping off the next four groceries off.
I drove my toy car home for lunch. Dana was coming home from her rounds. I put my toy car back on the front porch. "I got done." Dana said. "I had fun today." Manny replied. Mom made mac n' cheese. "Here girls, come and get it." Mom said happily excited. Mom handed me my bowl. Dana, got hers. The pink bowl with the frozen movie picture on it. She is six years old you know.
"How was y'all's rounds?"
In unsion, "Great!" The girls said excitedly.
"I went to Mrs. Gally's. She was eager to watch her soap on TV when I got done washing her dishes."
"Oh was she?"
"Yeah, how's Sara?"
"Fine. She was there as usual giving Mrs. Gally her shower."
"Good. I was here cleaning my kitchen this morning, too. I did have clean the counters. I did put the muffins away and washed the dishes and coffee pot. I'm dishwasher still works."
"Yeah, me too."
"Dana, how's your mac n' cheese?"
"It's good. It's very cheezy."
"After I check both your homework. Dana, would you like to go to your friend's house after we go to the park where we are meeting up with your friends and they're parents?"
"Which friend?"
'Tabbi."
"I'll like that."
"Good."
Mom made us get our homework out. Dana and I sat on the couch in the living room. Mom sat on the couch too. Mom opened our folders and looked through our homework papers and planners and saw what our teachers were asking us to accomplish in our homework. It was division that were completing in school and to finish what homework we had on the topic. To make we are learning the material.
"I know I checked your homework on Friday. I thought I check again to make it got done. I'm glad it's done. I'll put on a youtube video on division to make sure you'll get it. While you're doing that Manny, I'm going to look up websites with more divsion problems I'll you to do. I'll check your work and I'll write in your planner a comment to your teacher how I added this to your homework so she will see how well your picking up the material. I discuss this with her over the phone since the begining of this school year. "
"Ok."
A fifteen minute video was playing on my Mom's phone. While I was watching this video, I didn't understand some of it so, I asked my Mom. "Hey Mom?" "Yes?" "Do I have to put more than one of those half boxes to show a division sign to divide?" "No, just one." "Thanks." "Alright. I'm still getting a few more division problems written down for you to practice what you've learned."
After Mom checked our homework. We went to the park. Ms. Kate and Dana's friend Baliey and her sister, Chelsea were here.
We all had fun playing tag. Our parents taking turns with every one of us sliding down the slides with us. Playing on the swings. Playing on the seesaw. Chelsea told me how she still remembered how great her past birthday party was this year. The party was a couple of months ago. She just turned nine. Chelsea told me how this one girl in school tends to have more red ribbon and had an argument last Tuesday over it. It was a misunderstanding and found out it really was her red ribbon. And, Chelsea was very it didn't get any worst. Chelsea told me how she was able to tell Clair about this before she got to telling me.
Four hours into the park later. We were there since 2:00 pm. We were done hanging out with Bailey and Chelsea. Dana went to her friend's Tabbi's house.
