The sky is like a music box, so lovely to look and the song that plays when you hear it is quite interesting. The weather is wonderful. You can see the trees and the grass, it’s a beautiful sight, and it’s great to see. The lovely scenery is one of a kind, since looking at something you won't see again, since the clouds do shift, and so do the plants and animals, if you look more at the sky. When you walk down the dirt path, you can smell the flowers since it rained not too long ago, and you can still see some of the puddles that were there, and that they needed more of a loving part for this.
As you approach, a lively scene of water filled with tadpoles and fish unfolds, reminiscent of a cherished childhood drawing, the last link to your past. Checking the picture confirms that this is indeed the place from your memories. You walk closer, curious to explore what else might be hidden from view, your shadow trailing alongside you as a comforting reminder that you’re not alone. Stepping into the water, your clothes cling to your skin as you navigate through the four-foot depths, making your way to a small patch of land graced by a low-hanging willow tree. The experience is both enchanting and reflective, merging the memories of old with the vibrant life around you.
The wind makes the branches swing back and forth, and the sound of the different bugs and animals in the tree, the humming birds sleeping along with the other birds. Walking to the trunk of the tree and looking at the carvings that other people or couples have left after visiting over the years. As you walked around the tree, you reached out to touch its trunk. The texture of the wood under your fingers has a new joy that hasn’t been experienced before. Stopping when you see something fall from the tree and going down to pick it up.
After you pick it up, you sit down and look at what have feels like. It was a piece of wood, so you held it as you looked at the drawing, moving your wet clothes so it won't stick against your skin. So you waited till Dusk so you could see the firefly Petunia that glows, angling with the flying fireflies as you look over to the beautiful landscape you've been waiting for. You can hear the water running throw the land as it rains softly. You waited till it stopped, and you got out and put your bare feet in the water as you looked up at the sky.
The small breeze of the cold, but you don’t mind since you were waiting for the one thing you were looking for. The meader shower that you've been waiting for decays to see. The sky seemed like it was dancing along with i. It was a sight to see. But knowing you can’t stay long since the town you lived in would need you since the great gold rush is happening, but this was a secret place you had found at a young age. You get up and walk into the water, but not before looking at it and reaching down as you put your head in the water as well.
You picked it up and saw it was a chunk of gold, so you held it close as you went on and tried to ring out your clothes as you still wore them, and went back to the town. Checking that no one will see as you go back to the dirt that is getting picked up, as you wanted, along with sticking to your clothes, making it muddy as you walk. You went to the shop that you work at and you went to the back to change and you went and go to the back to change inro more dry proper clothes and cma eback with the gold and you hid it under the floor boards as you clean the tables as you wait till dawn so you could go get some sales in so you could leave the Old West. You look out the window as the sun starts to rise, and you know your patch of green land is not revealed to anyone else's eyes but yours, since you know the land will be taken over by the oles that could look for gold. Gold might be for those who have good luck, but you know it’s not true since you know it was fake all along, and that could be the death of you, so you waited as the days seemed to drag on.
Hearing gunshots and going to get the body to bury it, since it was your job at the time, and this could have been useful and bad at times, since you could have what they had on them, so you did get many guns and boots to sell to make a living, knowing that this time is very well. Cleaning horses, digging holes, and dragging bodies are just a small tasks that you are scaring away with money since you needed to buy things to make the boots and guns shine. Once the sun sets, you know it's the best time, so you leave and go back to the patch of land that you know that only shows itself miles away from where you are, and you have to go through many obstacles, so you don't get bitten by the snakes and scorpions that live close by. You walk back to the patch of land, and you go back to the willow tree that grows in the middle of the water.
You sit there and bring in the fresh air since you know that this place will go and drift away at dawn. But you decided to stay there since you didn't want to go back. The time has passed as it felt short, but you saw the land start to turn to sand and dead plants as the water runs dry, and you just lay there. You close your eyes as you take your last breath, since you have felt your body turn to dust and the wind scatter your dusted body along with the other sand around. The Land seemed to be the same, like nothing had shifted, as the wind moved along like any other day that had passed before.
