I was walking home one day after school, when a black cat with white tipped whiskers ran across the street in front of me. Being a cat person, I thought it was adorable. I decided to take the long way, thinking I would see more cats. The same black cat I saw earlier, walked across the road paused to look at me, the ran off. I thought it got around fast. I was turning onto my street when the cat walked to the middle of the road, looked at me again, then took off into the bushes near a mailbox. I crouched and looked into the bush, only to find the cat was no longer there. I resumed my walk, and once again saw the cat trotting to a nearby tree. I started backing up, I turned around and the cat darted across the road. I turned to run home, and the cat ran across the road. I ran home after that, nearly tripping after the cat darted across the street once more. The cat appeared out of nowhere, running across my yard. I was out of breath when I got to my porch when I remembered I had to check the mail. I turned and saw the cat again.
