Reporting Officer: Sgt. Ross, Badge Number #0892

Subject: Unexplained "rotten" odour

On the said date and time, I responded to the 999 call made by Hue Johnson, one of the neighbours of the reported suspect. While I headed to the exact apartment complex, I was informed of a change in the local priest's behaviour.

Witness Hue Johnson's statement:

"At first, there were only rare occasion where he shouted blasphemous words, but after a little time it became almost like an everyday occurrence. I could not recognise the language, seemed like Latin maybe, but sure as hell it was creepy."

Considering the danger that an unstable individual could present, I unholstered my taser upon arrival. Heavy rain was falling that day, so I proceeded to the complex with haste.

Witness Ruth Delgado's statement:

"He started to talk about eternity, and how everything will collapse into darkness, if we don't give them what needs to be given. Always dealt with shady stuff, and I always knew it will backfire on him, that's for sure!"

With the neighbour's help, I slowly approached the suspect's level in the apartment. The lights flickered, stairs creaked. The wallpaper was old, nothing major was going on the other levels. All the doors were closed—except for one...

A blood-and-feces-like aroma came from the gap between the wooden entrance and the wall. Slow and steady splashing sounds came from the door's direction.

Witness Anne Doyle's statement:

"In the recent times, there were a lot of complaints about him... Who heard about a priest who steals from the church? You would think it would be okay for a priest to talk about the devil, but something was behind his words... I stopped going to church after speaking to him, it gives me the shivers."

I approached the target's location. As I stopped before the entrance, I reviewed the door carefully. It showed no sign of forced entry or struggle—at least, not in the usual sense. Instead, the view that was "unexplainable" to the best of my knowledge.

The living room floor was covered in a pool of blood, and the walls took up a burned, reddish colour. Some of the wallpaper was torn off from the concrete. The smell that lingered in between those four walls was hell itself.

But the most stomach turning was still waiting for me in the middle of the room— lifelessly hanging from the ceiling. A white haired, male, approximately 40-50 year old. A single pair of bone like horns punctured his temples, explaining the blood dripping from his body.

His skin is marble white, almost feels like there was wax on the skin. Small cuts, and bruises can be seen on the suspect's hands.

I have seen many things in my time, but this was something new—something that sticks with a person's soul.

Witness Leonard Price's statement:

"Ohhh, about the priest? He was a really kind one. Firstly, I did not dig him, but after he got those sick ass daggers. I could only see them one time in person, I did not get the meaning of owning them, but a priest with a dagger? What is cooler than that?"

After the scenery that unfolded before me, I radioed into the station for backup, and closed down the surrounding area. As I secured the crime scene, I started my search, and located many artefacts. One of them was a Bible on a pedestal. Its pages were slightly burned and left open. Around it, on a small bronze plate, I found bread pieces and a single medium-sized fish. The red liquid in a rusty metal cup was sighted beside it. Even though they did not see the suspect come out from their house, the bread and fish seemed fresh, and the wine did not have a vinegar smell.

Witness Clara Whitman's statement:

"Sometimes he showed up in church with rather interesting artefacts. Firstly I did not give too much of a thought, but when he started to talk to me like: 'You cannot even comprehend how bad was the plague...' I was mostly stunned, and just passed it by, ohh he just likes history. But he started to describe the feeling like he experienced it before. I filed a complaint about him in the near future to the town hall, but it fell on deaf ears."

I found a historical painting on the wall, he could be a collector of many things. Most of the paintings are showing famous people. The only similarity between them, a monogram: L.M.

Looking around the room more, the furniture seems intact— mostly minor damage to some chairs, and glass parts of the cabinet. Oxidised crosses were spotted on the wall, upside down, with an unknown substance dripping from them. Pungent aroma, seems like some sort of acid. Stove burners were still on, with a pan of burned eggs. Gas odour was still leaking from the appliance, and they mix with blood particles in the air.

Witness Peter Holloway's statement:

"You would think a priest does not give in to the temptations, but every now, and then he appeared in my bar. He did not talk much, always dug his head into something like a notebook. Once or twice he came to me to order another round of ale. While I was pouring it from the tap, he said all sorts of things. 'You are a good sheep Peter, keep at it, and you might even amuse me!' "

Evidence collected:

- Fallen down crosses (With unknown substance covering them)

- Likely bone fragments from the "horn"

- Blood sample from the victim

- Few Pieces of bread, for further research

- 1 Medium-sized fish, for further research

- Artefacts, likely stolen

No threat is found on premises anymore, but caution is advised. Do not let civilians into the apartment until further investigation.

One thing I know for sure, that is... There was no God in that house.
