A day at the coffee shop

A beautiful girl come to the coffee shop sat next to our table. She wore a red laced one piece , she had a long curly hair, with a sling bag which was shining as bright as her. She looked like she was waiting for her friends. She grabbed her mobile and began to click pictures of her in the beautiful location. She has ordered a coffee but the waiter gave him a menu which was recent. The coffee shop added autumnal drinks to the menu. He was explaining her all the drinks.

She looked interesting and as she was free she started a conversation with the waiter, she asked him one of her favorite apple cider vinegar drink.

She looked frustrated waiting for her friends, I began to start a conversation with her to pass her time, she was actually not interested but later she began to talk. Her friends were stuck in a traffic so they couldn’t make it up soon. I have ordered the toffee apple sour cocktail which was famous in the coffee shop.

By the time we got the order, we were talking about our interests . She has completed her education recently and was in search of job. 'I was working in a MNC' I stated. She had forwarded her resume to me to work in our company and slowly we exchanged numbers.

The waiter was ready with the drinks, it tasted as delicious as heaven. They have added ten new autumnal drinks like toffee apple sour cocktail, sloe gin cocktail, hot pie Apple punch , slow cooker hot chocolate , bramble, hot toddy , etc.

The names were as sweet as the cocktails taste. We had our drinks and the conversation continued.

It looked more over like a blind date between the strangers.

She had received a call from her friends joining her soon. I thought of leaving the place, she refused me to do so, she wanted me to introduce to her friends and made me a part of them. Her friends reached in no time, they were four of them, well dressed in shorts and minis loose hair with sling bags .All of them were shocked seeing me at their table. She began to introduce me like 'Hey, he’s my friend he’s working in an MNC and we just become friends ' .

They were like in a shock, looked at each other started murmuring and began to have a seat. By the way I don’t even know her name . We began to talk everything forgetting to introduce our names. She stated 

“I’m Vithika, your name please “

“My name is Rahul” I said with a smile.

“Nice name”, so these are my best friends Pinky, Ritu ,Dia and Shobana. We studied together since years and have a nice rapo with each other. 

“Fine,looks interesting, shall I place the order ? “ I said to Vithika. She smiled and said “ yeah, you can make the order with the best cocktails.”.

I called the waiter, ordered their selection and I got a phone call from my manager. I need to attend it . I picked up the call coming far from the table, my manager was like he wants me to overwork today and continue the day and night shift for the deadline. Soon , I had to leave the place.

I wished a bye and I need to reach the office soon. Next day, I received a call from Vithika, she began to wish me good morning and my day started with the beautiful talks. She wants me to handover her resume to my manger seeking for a job. 

Finally, she was called for the interview and was selected for the process and she got the job. She was so happy that she got job in our company. She was satisfied with the salary and shifted her room to near by office and which was near my room. 

Later, she shifted to my room, we both became close, I wanted to introduce her to my mother. We went to long drives, attended parties, and slowly we were in love with each other. We went to our village and I introduced her to my mother, she was very happy looking at her, we had a thought of marriage. 

Similarly, we went to her village and found her father was not happy with our relation. She was already engaged with a business man, and was about to marry him in a month . She hid all the details with me, and I was in a shock literally. I had no words and I had no guts to convince them anymore .

She called me later and told that she wasn’t interested in him and so she has hidden the topic. 

I pleased her father, and told that I would marry her with or without your interest. Her parents agreed as I have job in a big company and my salary was a big number, so they did not refuse  

We got hitched finally, with family’s support . Everybody were happy. 

Our story always reminds me of the coffee table and the autumnal drinks we had..

What was the purpose I went there ?? And how did I marry her? Everything happened in a very short time.

So, that coffee shop was our favorite, we would never miss a year to celebrate our anniversary there . Soon we began to purchase the shop and now our favorite coffee shop is our's now.

We started adding different drinks according to visitors wish and every month, we would add a new cocktail.

Like months passed, our business was going great. We would never miss a special day without that place. It's been a part of us.

It's really very strange right ? How strangers meet, love , marry and own the same shop.

Soon, we had a baby boy and we were expecting our second child. A couple came to our shop and ordered a drink and was very impressed by the taste and gave us a flower garden as a gift, they were about to leave the city and wanted to gift us the garden. We accepted with happiness as it was our new family member.
